Great stop for a restful sleep and 5 star dinner.
This is an excellent 1 night stop over for your trek through Namibia. The service from the staff is excellent, the accommodation is adequate and comfortable. You will sleep well and have a nice pool to relax by with a beer. The highlight is the dinner and breakfast. The owner is an award wining chef and the quality of the cuisine and wine list shows. If you want a 5 star “bed and breakfast/dinner” don’t hesitate to stop here. As a side note, German and Afrikaans are the primary languages spoken but everyone speaks English. Things are geared toward the European crowd tho. If you stay for dinner, be prepared for a more formal atmosphere than most safari camps with the place settings.

One night at Immanuel wilderness lodge
We stayed for one night, and wished we had more. The lodge is beautiful, clean, has great food and amazing service! There's a waterhole right outside which we didn't get to use because we came straight from Windhoek the day we landed and were tired, however the lodge was perfect, there was a great dinner waiting for us and the service was wonderful!

Cold at night and no extra blankets
The lodge is a pleasant place. However, there are only very thin duvets, and no extra blankets. The temperature went down to 10 degrees at night, and with the large gaps around the door, we woke up absolutely freezing in the middle of the night. Also there was a little too much pressure to order from the bar and restaurant.

Thank you for your review. We very much regret that our desire to serve you well was perceived as too much pressure. At 20 degrees in the evening, we do not automatically distribute a blanket to everyone. On demand, however, these are always available. Besides, our air conditioner in the rooms can not only cool, but also heat. Best regards

Perfect overnight spot for a tired traveller
Had a lovely quick 1 night stay on way up to Etosha. Very hospitable hosts and staff, amazing food, cosy sitting area at reception, comfy beds and a hot shower. What more can one ask for as a tired hungry traveller. Thank you to all at Immanuel Lodge.

Overnight from Windhoek
General public areas are very nice and the have a gourmet menu (early dining), set menu, chef has lots of awards but a little on the pricey side and unless you’re going to drive miles you have little choice. Breakfast is a basic buffet. The staff are lovely but be aware that they do have cats and dogs. We were not happy with the cats sitting on the chairs in the breakfast room. Hotel is next to the B1 so lots of road traffic, not good if you’re a light sleeper plus there are some local businesses that start early. The room design means that you can hear your next door neighbours very easily, even what they’re playing on their digital devices. Bathroom is dated and a looked as though it could do with a good steam clean of floors and tiles. Very efficient Internet

We stayed at Immanuel the night before our flight out of Windhoek. Do bear in mind though that it is about an hour from the airport. The property is nice and they have a bunch of cats, dogs and a few ostriches. The room was very basic and does need updating. We asked if we could have a room with a double bed and they said just push the twin beds together, they didn't offer to do it. Dinner was delicious and definitely the only bright spot. The day we arrived in Namibia we stayed at windhoek game camp down the road. It is self service but the room was much much nicer and they have the sweetest golden retriever. The unit at windhoek game camp was cleaner, decorated beautifully and more private. Definitely better value.

Relaxing place, great facilities & service. It's a bit of a drive from Windhoek so only suits those with a car. Food is great though I would have prefered a choice of evening meal - they only offer a four course set meal which is expensive

Unsere „Abschlusslodge“ dieses Jahr! Toller Service, ein super Essen und noch einmal Ausspannen vor dem Heimflug. Kleines Manko: Hähne in der Nachbarschaft, welche sich leider nicht an ihre „Zeiten“ halten 😜 Sonst alles super!

The place to stay
Mycket bra ställe att bo på, personalen ville ditt bästa hela tiden och man fick en känsla av att vara hemma. Middagen på kvällen var fantastisk och Stephan lägger ned sin själ i att det skall vara gott och presenteras aptitligt. Geografiskt på lagom avstånd från Windhoek oavsett om du är på väg dit eller därifrån. Kan verkligen rekomendera detta boende.

Der Frühstücks und Restaurantbereich war gut und sauber. Der Rest der Lodge , die Wege und die Zimmer waren nicht sauber und gepflegt und abgewohnt! Die Wege waren aus grobem Schotter! Die Terrasse war sehr schmutzig und renovierungsbedürftig(am Abend viele Ameisen!). Das Preis-Leistungsvehältnis war sehr schlecht! Wir hatten einige Unterkünfte für den halben Preis, wo wir uns wohl fühlten und dann auch länger blieben!

Wir bedauern sehr, dass wir Ihren Erwartungen nicht entsprochen haben. Sauberkeit wird in unserem Hause sehr groß geschrieben und jedes Zimmer wird nach dem Saubermachen noch einmal von einem anderen Mitarbeiter geprüft. Da es zur Zeit öfters einmal windet, kann natürlich dadurch vielleicht dieser negative Eindruck entstanden sein. Ich kann Ihnen garantieren, dass dies nicht der normaler Zustand auf unserer Lodge ist und würde mich freuen, wenn Sie sich bei Ihrem nächsten Namibia Besuch davon überzeugen würden. Die Steinlandschaft kommt bei dem Großteil unserer Gäste sehr gut an. Nach 3 Jahren ohne Regen, mussten wir uns auf die Gegebenheiten in Namibia einstellen. Da wir keine Bohrlöcher bauen dürfen, wie es z.B. auf den Farmen üblich ist, bitten wir um Verständnis, dass wir unsere Rasenfläche umwandeln mussten. Herzliche Grüße

Hôtel très correct, quelques petites améliorations pourraient être utiles( serviettes-éponges un peu usagées, salle de douche à rénover, rideau déchiré) dommage... Le patron très sympathique est un excellent cuisinier nous y avons très bien mangé. Belle halte sur le retour vers windoek

Kleine, gemütliche Lodge mit ca. 25 Gästen. Geführt durch deutsche Inhaber, mit denen wir schnell in Kontakt kamen. Sehr gute Küche, frisch zubereitetes Abendessen (vor allem Gegrilltes) und ein hervorragendes Frühstück. Es wird auch besonders auf Lebensmittelunverträglichkeiten Rücksicht genommen. Aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Pool im Außenbereich mit Liegen und extra Handtüchern. Die Lodge liegt nur ca. 20km von Windhuk entfernt und ist damit ein idealer Ausgangspunkt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Eine Lodge zum wohlfühlen!
Sehr schöne Lodge etwas außerhalb von WDH und deshalb optimal zum entspannen bei einem super Essen welches vom Chef persönlich zubereitet wird! Die Chefin ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin und immer zu einen „Plausch“ bereit!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Immanuel lodge, dadurch hatte unsere Reise gleich perfekt begonnen. Das Essen war einfach grandios und nur zu empfehlen. Auch die poolanlage sowie die ganze Anlage, alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

mooie stop einde van de rondreis
Heerlijk verblijf gehad aan het einde van onze reis door namibie, ons doel hier was dan ook relaxen. We hebben heerlijk bij het zwembad kunnen relaxen en het eten was heerlijk hier zowel ontbijt al avond e Vergeleken met onze andere verblijven was het wifi zeer goed! Hele aardige gastheer en gastvrouw. We hadden de familiekamer, 2 persoonsend is wat aan de kleine kant en badkamer simpel ingericht.

合計9泊しますが、朝食、夕食共に絶妙の味付けで、特にディナーは、毎日コース料理が出され、メインディッシュは日替わりで、アフリカならではの肉、オリックス、インパラ、Weiss Schwanzgnu と提供された。 食堂のライティングも幻想的で、正に砂漠での夢の日々を演出してくれる。

自然を満喫し食事も美味しい
大自然の中にありますが、建物はモダンで綺麗、ロビーにはグランドピアノも置いてあるとてもおしゃれな空間です。 部屋も清潔でおしゃれ。 そして、夕食がコース料理。スープから始まり、サラダ、メインディッシュ、デザートとどれも美味しくいただきました。シェフが都度現れて、お客さんと具合はどうか聞いてだずれるなど、お客様を大切にしていることが伺えます。 ウインドフックからちょっと離れていますが、車で帰国する際には、ここを最終宿泊地にして、翌日空港に直行するといいとお思います。 とにかく素晴らしかった。

Great lodge with many animals
Great place, great service and food! Very charming with a lot of animals at the lodge. Both tame and not tame! It's not a fivestar-place, but you get a lot for your money. They can arrange pickup at the airport. It's a 45min-90min drive depends on traffic (and the driver)! :-)

Empfehlung NAhe Windhoek
Die Lodge empfiehlt sich für einen Zwischenstopp. Sehr individuell, kein Massenbetrieb. Allerdings ist die Anlage auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Hier sollte in nächster Zeit etwas in die Werterhaltung investiert werden.

Schöne Lodge mit hervorragender Küche
Wir haben uns in der Immanuel Lodge sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lodge liegt ca 20 km von Windhoek entfernt in der Natur und ist für ihre hervorragende Küche bekannt.. Wir haben während unseres Aufenthalts ein Radioteam von Radio Namibia kennengelernt, das häufiger extra zum Abendessen zur Lodge rausfährt. Die Lodge hat 9 Gästezimmer und wird von Stefan und Sabine ganz liebevoll dekoriert und geführt.

Die deutschen Besitzer machen alles möglich, dass man sich wohl fühlt, die Umgebung ist nicht ganz so toll (Gewerbegebiet) aber das machen die Lodge wieder wett

Exzellentes Hotel für die Tage vor/nach der Reise
Das Hotel liegt ca. 18km nördlich von Windhoek ist also leicht zu erreichen. Exzellentes Essen wird geboten. Garten mit Pool hübsch und ruhig. Zimmer sind sauber und komfortabel, aber etwas hellhörig. In der Gesamtheit sehr zu empfehlen für die Tage um den Reiseanfang oder um das Reiseende herum

Gut entspannt und sehr gut gegessen
Gut angekommen und sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Ausstattung ist sehr vertraut und völlig ausreichend. Es entspricht dem Preis. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut, weil es sehr frisch gekocht wird. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut direkt ca.: 15 Km vor Windhoek City. Das Gelände sowie der Parkplatz wird überwacht. Sehr gut gepflegte Anlage und freilaufenden Tieren. Beim nächsten mal kommen wir wieder und lassen uns kulinarisch verwöhnen.
