Outstanding views right off the patio connected by a fully opening door to the room Restaurant opened to the patio was an asset as well as a problem. There were pesky moths that continued coming around the inside tables. Cigarette smoke from the patio was annoying. wonderful lightning storm, friendly staff

Great place to stay on your first or last night in Namibia, being only 17 minutes from the airport. Super friendly. The most amazing sunsets from the terrace. Highly recommended!

Nice place for a night before flight
The family room was very nice, clean and comfortable - good value other than them increasing the price on arrival due to a “mistake” with hotels.com . Not too pleased with that being something that was to come out of pocket for me . The airport shuttle was quite overpriced for Namibia standards at 180 N per person for a 15 minute drive, but was reliable and on time - very pleasant driver. All in all , it is a nice place to stay for a night before an early flight . Otherwise, I don’t see why one would want to stay here given how isolated it is.

The location is beautiful isolated place halfway between Windhoek and the airport. It is right next door to BOBO Camper Rental Depot and close to the B6 highway and yet no noise or impact from either. The swimming pool is great and overlooks the bushveld and mountains beyond. The restaurant and food are excellent. Highly recommend this hotel and campsites. The staff are wonderful and super helpful.

Internet needs reworking
I enjoyed this out-of-the-way lodge. Very native feel in construction & decorations. My only complaint is the internet was sketchy at best.

Good day Mr Diskin, Unfortunately we didn't have a water supply from Namwater due to a faulty pressure pump from their side. This is a force of majority where we couldn't act on time. In the rooms and at the entrance is an after hours cell number which is available 24 hours. We are sorry for the inconvenience, at least we had power and no load shedding what happens a lot in other countries. Kind regards

I stayed twice and both times it was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpfull. Food was amazing and the rooms were great and super clean.Totally relaxing. I'll be staying there again on my next trip to Namibia.

Good value for money but when checkin in there was no receptionist present and when she arrived she overcharged us as we has already paid half of the stay. She couldnt tell this in the hotel computer system and we now need to wait for the manager the next day to reimburse us.

Good day Edo, Thank you for taking time to fill in a review. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced at our lodge. I investigated and noticed that the waitress who checked you in did not report to the manager on duty. She had to do that immediately. We did not take a deposit for you booking which was done on Friday 8th April 2022. It is only us who might take a deposit, not Expedia. In this case you are not overcharged and should have been explained to you immediately. As per you booking you were with 3 persons (2A + 1C) for which you actually had to pay an extra bed which is not charged. Obviously due to the unsatisfied service we gave you we will not charge it. We really hope to see you in future again as our guests and show you that this is not our standard of service. Thank you for understanding and kind regards,

Fine for the airport
This is a very basic travel-motel-style hotel. It's the equivalent of a US Motel 6. Totally fine for a night before a flight (it's the closest hotel to the airport!) but I wouldn't stay longer. It's clean and pleasant, but nothing too special. But solid choice for the night before an early flight!

Good if you’re looking to stay close to the airport on your way out. One of the closest properties to the airport, about a 20 minute drive. Otherwise the property is just basic. There aren’t many choices around the airport.

This Property is lovely! The views are beautiful. The resident cats are enchanting and well cared for. Lovely swimming pool and the restaurant has terrific food! Additionally, all staff are extremely engaging and courteous and want to make sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need! The rooms are VERY COMFORTABLE. I would highly recommend the Trans Kalahari Inn!

This is a great place, great food, great staff and great location for a rest after a long flight! Food is cheap and yummy! Beer is super cold and good!

A beautiful place for a sleepover. The food was delicious. I absolutely enjoyed my sole fish served with boiled potatoes and fresh, fresh vegetable salad. The surrounds is marvellous making it ideal for a little nature walk. I enjoyed the walk down the campsite road, listening to the birds singing, watching the setting sun whilst being brushed by the fresh breeze. The shuttle service to the airports gave me a stress- free me time knowing fully well that I was going to be on time for my flight. The pool is clean and I cherished my lone and quiet swim whilst a member of staff volunteered to take some pictures of me. I wasn’t sure though what the smell in my room was or where it came from but I let management know about this down side. I will certainly spend some time with them again.

Ideale unterkunft vor dem rückflug.die chefin des Hauses ist spitze und sehr hilfsbereit insbesonders beim ticket ausdrucken. Ansonsten hat alles gepasst auch der kälteste Pool in ganz namibia.wir kommen wieder.
