"I have stayed at this resort several times with family. This was not a good experience, as we were visiting for my mother's 90th birthday. She is in a wheel chair, so I requested an ADU room when I made the reservation. I followed up with a call to the hotel, expressing our needs, prior to our trip and check in. While we were given a ground floor room, it was not an ADU room. I have stayed in an ADU room previously here, with bathroom and shower accomodations. What we got this time was completely inadequate for my mother. It was a big disappointment for her birthday to not have a shower she could use or a bathroom where she could fit her wheelchair."

"The beds were wonderfully comfy. Not too hard, not too soft. The bedding is cloudlike and such a pleasure. My friend snuggled in and I slept beautifully. We asked for a quiet location and they accommodated us very well. My only quibbles are that there was no fan in the bathroom to exhaust the shower steam. That might not have been too annoying, except that there were no other mirrors anywhere in the room. Kind of tricky when sharing a two queen room with a friend and we both need showers and mirror time to get ready. Still, a nice location and very comfy. Wifi was okay. Breakfast was fine, plentiful and free as usual, thought he waffle maker was broken at that time. I trust Holiday Inn Express for consistent quality, and I'd say overall this location delivered."

"Beautiful location and property. Certain dishes in Drake’s Restaurant - corn chowder soup, burrata and snap pea salad, pork chop and miso cod- are outstanding for dinner. Cozy room with fireplace and wonderful views from 2nd floor balcony. Access to bikes and Dorian Park along with our hike to Estero Americano Park rounded out are 2 night stay with use of the infinity hot tub and pool. S’mores in the evening by the lobby fire was a nice touch. Staff helpful and kind. Overall very relaxing stay!"

"The view on the bay and the ocean was splendid the room was immaculate and in addition we can see some very nice cows on the nearby field. The breakfast brought to the room was great both for the food and the kindness of the people, we will be back!"
