We have stayed at a few places in the area and enjoyed this one above all others. Beautiful deck, quiet neighborhood and very well equipped kitchen. We hope to return!
We were a group of 3 adults and a small kid with a couple pups. The space worked very well with the three distinct bedrooms and two bathrooms. Super easy to find and check in.
Beautiful views and very comfortable accommodations with an owner who was responsive and helpful. We loved our time here and hope to be back! Note that if there is winter weather in the area, make sure you have an AWD vehicle to access this neighborhood.
we spent 3 day and had a very relaxing time in the park and at the house.
thanks for sharing your home

Amazing view off the deck. Quiet community. Easy to get to Winthrop or Mazama. Plenty of space for a family. Super comfortable beds with great options for amenities.
Wonderful cabin with a nice view from the back deck of the kitchen. Wood stove worked wonderfully and was great ambiance. Its a cozy place, but felt spacious. We had our 45 LB cattle dog and it was nice we could close the back deck gate so she could hang with us and not worry she'd go exploring. Really a great place.
We had a great stay at this cabin for our visit to North Cascades National Park. We knew that we’d have a drive to get to some of the hikes we did (Thunder Knob, Thunder Creek, Cutthroat Lake) but the drive is beautiful and we felt like this was a good location. The cabin had everything we needed, was very clean and neat, and has amazing views. If you have a clear night, go on the deck and look at the stars!! The Mazama Public House was very close, has awesome beer and wine, and delicious food. The Mazama Store is great also, groceries and gifts. Stop by in the morning for pastries, coffee, and delicious sandwiches to go for lunch. Overall a great stay!
This is a great cabin and quite affordable too for the area. Just as described. Decent location: pretty short drive to Mazama and other skiing trails. The wood stove and ample wood supply was nice. It snowed while we were there and the snowplows came within a few hours but note the road the cabin is on is somewhat steep. A RAV4 handled it no problem with snow on the road but our lighter Forester (2006) had a hard time. Luckily the road (Cassel) loops around to the main neighborhood access road and that route is less steep so keep that in mind. We didn't use chains but had them. The only issue we had with the cabin is the big burners on the stove didn't work properly. You might want to check about that with the management company when you reserve.
Of the half dozen or so times we've visited the Mazama area, this was our best experience. The cabin is roomy and well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen and large TV with DVD player. The enclosed lower deck overlooks a ravine and the distant landscape, and other houses are screened by trees, so the feel is very private. We would definitely stay there again
This was a perfect long weekend getaway. Was a well-stocked house with everything we needed. Nestled in the woods, but easy drive to Winthrop if needed!
We traveled here with our family of 6 to hike in North Cascades National Park. We all loved the cabin! There was plenty of room to spread out, the beds were comfortable, and the place was well stocked with essentials. Also, the cabin sits in a forest and while there are other homes, you can’t see them from the deck and the view is amazing. The cabin was also close to the national park and only 30-35 minutes from Blue lake and Maple pass loop hikes!
Nice tucked away cabin, cozy but needs a little TLC to make perfect.
Great place to recharge batteries internally. Roads were a little dicey due to slushy snow. The furniture was not too comfortable and the upstairs heat unit didn’t work. Still it was nice to have a warm dry place to come back to each day. Thanks
My husband and I decided to take a short babymoon in early May and opted for this cabin in the woods. It ended up being a beautiful weekend with the balsam root flowers in full bloom. The location was great for nearby hikes and walks through town, and the cabin itself was cozy and clean. Our dog loved the big deck and we ate breakfast outside on it every morning as it had the morning sun and the view was spectacular. Also loved the wood burning stove in the evening when things turned cooler. It really heated the place up! Kitchen was also well stocked, which we appreciated as we cooked/grilled almost every meal. Property management company was very responsive and it was smooth check in/check out. Overall a wonderful getaway and would definitely stay here again!
The cabin was air-conditioned which was a HUGE plus since the temperatures soared over 100 degrees F. The entire cabin was clean and easy to access. The wifi worked and we were able to stream videos in the evening. The laundry facilities were great. The kitchen was well organized and the dining area was big enough for the four of us. The cabin made it possible for us to have a lot of fun!
The only cabin difficulties were the lack of a shower in the second floor bathroom and the need to drive to the property manager several miles from the cabin to get and drop off the keys.
