The Luxurious Turkey Run

Turkey Run is a beautiful, welcoming home that we can't wait to share with you. From top to bottom, you'll find attention to detail; comfy beds, warm, relaxing decor and a great pool table and media room to relax. Wisconsin Dells has so much to offer, but you'll really appreciate coming home to this private haven just a couple of minutes out of town. Turkey Run gets it's name from the wild turkeys that roam the property and adjoining fields. If you look closely, you'll see deer, rabbits and lots of birds as well. As you drive up to the property, you'll be welcomed by a wide front porch to enjoy the sunrise and watch the wildlife. We supply the comfy chairs, you just need the coffee! As you open the door, you'll be greeted with soaring ceilings, a gorgeous fireplace and many one of a kind decorating pieces. The living room is a perfect place to relax with a cozy fire and a book or watch your favorite show on the 55 in TV. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils for you to cook to your hearts content. We are close enough to downtown to enjoy takeout or delivery! There is plenty of seating around the custom log table as well as the one of a kind bar with seating for 4. Theres also a card table and extra chairs available. The rest of the main floor consists of a large bedroom, a gorgeous bath with a whirlpool tub and a tiled shower as well as a half bath. There is also an over-sized back deck perfect for grilling and hanging out. We supply the grill, propane and tools, you bring the food. Upstairs, you'll find another full bath, a loft living area with great seating, a pull-out couch and a TV/DVD player and 2 more bedrooms. The view of the main living room is fantastic from here! In the basement, you'll find a fully outfitted pool room with a full size pool table, 2 more bedrooms and a 3rd living room with a super comfortable sectional, pub table and a 65 in smart TV and DVD player. It is of utmost importance to us that you and your group have a superior vacation experience at Turkey Run. We manage our own properties and really care about each of our guests. There are many lodging options in the Dells and we are thrilled that you are considering Turkey Run. We are confident that this top of the line, new home will exceed your expectations. Weekend getaway

3rd year staying at a Rustic Retreats cabin for our friend group’s annual “cabin weekend”. The cabin was great - lots of seating and bed arrangements for our group of 14. Would definitely stay here again!

Extended Family Weekend Getaway.

We came to town to meet up with our extended families for some horseback riding and bike riding. Great place, perfect for a large group. Great location to food and entertainment, beautiful country cabin. We will come back.

Clean and inviting, great location.

Very clean and inviting property. Nicely decorated with comfortable furniture. Location very private with large front porch as well as deck with two large picnic tables and grill. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and quiet location yet being a little over a mile from Wis Dells restaurants and activities. Great vacation!

Great place

We enjoyed a lovely stay with our kids and grandkids. Luxurious Turkey Run was very clean, easy to find, and just close enough to all the Dells has to offer yet quiet. The host is extremely responsive. The property was delightful in every way. We would definitely book it again.

Fantastic retreat, conveniently located

Wonderful stay with a group of friends with kids in tow (12 total). Nice and quiet, but also conveniently close to major attractions. House is thoughtfully designed with multiple areas to gather (basement, 1st floor, and 2nd floor). Highly recommended

Amazing cabin, tucked away, minutes from the Dells

The cabin was exactly like advertised on the listing, the property manager was very responsive and extremely nice! It was great to have a secluded place to get back to after the hustle and bustle of the Dells, for a true "up North cabin" feeling. We will stay again !

We loved our stay!

We loved our stay at Turkey Run! Beautiful house and perfect location. Well-stocked kitchen. We ate most of our meals at the house. We enjoyed the fire pit and the grill. The pool table got used several times as well. Wonderful place!

Incentive Trip

I booked the cabin for an incentive trip that our sales organization won, it was a wonderful place for a team gathering. Everyone enjoyed the space including the deck and fire pit. The management, check in process, and communication was impeccable. It's exactly what we needed and blew away our expectations.

Groovy Bach Party

The luxurious turkey run is a house we will never forget! So much charm & space to have all your favorite people. My fiancé and I had a joined bachelor/bachelorette party here with our bridal party. We spent a lot of time in the backyard playing games and hanging around the fire. Sondra was super sweet and very responsive if we needed anything! Highly recommend staying here (:

Buddy Golf Trip

We were looking for a place for 8 college friends to be able to reconnect and play some golf in the Wisconsin Dells area. The Turkey Run was perfect! Very roomy. Kitchen very functional for making breakfast and coffee. Pool table and a basketball hoop were an excellent bonus. Would absolutely come back!

Top notch place

We held 3 generation bi-annual family vacation at Turkey Run. It was perfect!! Only 10 minutes from activities but beautiful and secluded when we wanted quiet. Great outdoors for kids to run. Multiple locations for people to play games or visit with each other. Management personally called the day before check-in to make us aware of a road closure that could add additional time to our arrival. I highly recommend this property.

Friends reunion

We are a group of old friends who met in college and have kept in contact with each other for 50+ years. Turkey run was the perfect place for a reunion! Just a short drive from lots of different activities, yet very private in a gorgeous wooded setting. Turkey Run has everything we needed and lots more. We had great communication from our host and a problem free stay. Would highly recommend this place!

Reunion

This was one of the best cabins I've been in. Everything you need for cooking, relaxing, sleeping, deck relaxation, and so much more. All the TV's were smart and ready to stream, didn't even need logins. Pool table and coke machine was a nice touch. Top notch.

Turkey Run Family Getaway

Beautiful home. Very comfortable beds. Close to downtown Wisconsin Dells but yet out in the country. Great space to play pool and games in the basement when raining. Went in August so only concern was they had one cooling thermostat on the main floor so had to turn it colder on the main floor to keep the upstairs’ comfortable and then the basement was pretty cool. Host very nice and easily accessible. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location for a family gathering

We had a wonderful stay this last weekend for our family Holiday get together. This was a great location, just 2 hours from family in Eau Claire and 2 hours from family in Milwaukee. Having the 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths was very convenient. The home is decorated very cute. The gas fireplace was a nice touch after arriving during a blizzard and then leaving with windchills below 0 degrees. The property had all the amenities we needed and they were very clear about what they didnt have so we knew to pack accordingly. We will definately book with Rustic Retreats again in the future.

Turkey Run Tribute

We had a family reunion at Turkey Run for a week. It was a great location in Wisconsin Dells and the property was phenominal. It was able to accommodate our group and allowed us to have lots of options at the property including pool, BBQ, fire pit, front and back patios for visiting. The home can accommodate large and small groups. The home is located very close to the downtown area of Wisconsin Dells but it is located in the countryside and very quiet and peaceful. A great location. The home is very clean and well decorated including three large TVs. Everyone enjoyed our stay at Turkey Run and appreciated this wonderful residence that could accommodate our group

Celebrating My 60th Birthday

What an amazing place the Luxurious Turkey Run was! We wanted a place close to the water parks in the Dells where all of us (8 adults and 6 kids) could stay ... this home was exactly everything we needed! Sondra's communication with me was A! When I reached out about the second have of the payment, she quickly responded. She even called me a few days before our check-in to introduce herself and to let us know that we could contact her if we needed anything. The pool table in the basement was a bonus of fun for some of the adults. The home is beautiful and, again, our host, Sondra, was fantastic ... before and after our time there!
