Walking around the area was a great treat

City center is basically a mall with no traffic

Most of the staff members were great housekeeping was iffy. Some days the room was cleaned and tidied some days nothing much was done and the bed was not made. Fairly quiet shops around but they have odd opening and closing times. Great restaurant attached to the hotel open for lunch and dinner you can get room service from there to your room which is great affordable and delicious. Hotel breakfast was good nice coffee tea pastries fruit eggs etc. We felt safe and loved the ability to walk around easily. Would stay again.

Convenient Stay near Metz
This was a functional stay to break a journey from Calais to Germany. From the outside it looks really dated but we were given a warm welcome by reception. The room itself was a bit sparse and the curtains had holes so I think the hotel needs a facelift inside and out. However the staff were great ...
