The cottage features an open plan living area centred around a warming slow combustion fire place, country style kitchen with timber benches, air conditioner, a cosy bathroom, composting toilet system, sunny north facing under cover outdoor area and character filled front under cover verandah. Walking distance to Wollombi village and next door to Wollombi Wines Cellar Door.

The Lodge

The lodge was so quaint and had everything we needed. Loved that the owner made a welcoming little sign at the front door and made sure the fire was going with wine and chocolate waiting. Highly recommend this property

The Lodge at Wollombi

Our stay at the lodge was fantastic. The warm cosy fire in the combustion stove upon our arrival created a beautiful ambiance. The lodge has everything you need to enjoy a getaway in the beautiful Wollombi valley. Communication with the owner was easy and we loved the thoughtful welcoming touches.

My partner and I could not recommend this place more! It is secluded, yet a comfortable walk into town. The surrounding bushland and river make for such a beautiful location. The hosts couldn’t have been more wonderful and accommodating, we didn’t arrive until later in the evening and they had set the fire up for us, making the cottage warm, cosy and so inviting from the get-go. The cottage was well stocked with seasonings, tea, coffee and cooking essentials - making home cooking easy and enjoyable. We will be back!

Fantastic weekend away

We stayed here for the weekend to attend a wedding in the area. We were very impressed with the property and its charm. We would definitely stay again or recommend to others. Short walk or drive to town centre. Thank you for the personal touches, with the welcome sign and wine and chocolate.

Beautiful outlook from this little rustic cabin with all the amenities you need to enjoy your stay. Wolllombi is such a cool little community and the nice welcoming touches were appreciated. Would stay here again

The Lodge

Spent two nights here in late August. The Lodge is a lovely rustic cottage that we thoroughly enjoyed staying at. The fire was ready to light and a nice bottle of red and some chocolate greeted us on our arrival. Only 2 minutes from Wollombi and close to many wineries.
