"Stoudtburg Village is just about the cutest place that we have stayed. It is a quiet village with a bonus of shops around the village, and across the road that we walked to. The house itself was perfect for our needs and had everything that we needed in the kitchen. We have stayed at other houses within VRBO and others and have had to go out to buy some of the items that we needed, we didn't have to do that here. "Three ladies stayed while attending the Lancaster Quilt Show. Plenty of room to sew in the evening. On street parking was not a problem. You may want to add a curtain on the bathroom window or frost the window. Also wider curtains on the windows."

I would highly recommend Dutch Wonderland for an amusement park experience for young kids. Our grandchildren were 8 & 5 and they loved there time there. "Black Diamond Retreat was a wonderful place for a family gathering. Both indoor and outdoor areas were spacious and gave everyone room to spread out and wander. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit every evening and playing corn hole and bocci outside as well. Even though it seemed we were away in the middle of nowhere and very quiet, town was only a short drive away. Some of us did take and enjoy the Yuengling Brewery tour. "We were in town for a tournament at In the Net and this was exactly what we needed. It was a short drive (~18 min) on beautiful scenic roads to the games. Little house on Lincoln was comfortable and peaceful when we wanted to be away from the high energy of competitive sports. Everything you could need was on site and the host was so easy to reach. The noise from trucks noted in other reviews is accurate AND we just used some while noise to drown it out a bit. It was better than slamming hotel...
