"The rental is the lower part of the house. Beautifully remodeled. Very comfortable. It had everything we needed. The host even welcomed us and gifted us a charcuterie board and bottle of wine. Top notch host! The grounds are beautiful as well. The home was in a great location! We highly recommend!"

"The property is a modernized old farm house. I reiterate its an old farm house and it fits the description perfectly.This property is in the country. That being said, that was the appeal for us in choosing this property. Probably 25 mintues to Galena and 40 to Dubuque. The views are spectacular. Its quiet, actually I expected some early farming activity, but other than cattle feeding which was not loud or disruptive there wasn't any on our visit. The cattle/cows are to the west and east of the home.The home is clean and we had a few questions that were answered quickly.We would definitely stay here again.Bruce & Joann"

"We had a wonderful stay in a peaceful and quiet environment. We could take a day trip to the local communities and then head back to have quality time without any disturbances. The walking paths on the property were great with a wide variety of plants and animals from the valley floor to the top of the ridge. The cabin was as described, and we had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. We will be back in the future."
