"I recently stayed at Comfort Suites and unfortunately, my experience did not match the expectations set by the main floor. The lobby area was very clean and had a pleasant smell, which gave us the impression that the rest of the property would be the same — but that was not the case. The hallway on the second floor had a strong, humid, musty odor that was very unpleasant. When we entered our room, things only got worse. The pull-out couch was completely unusable — the corner of it had multiple stains and visible mold. The loveseat was also in poor condition, with threads coming out and visible dirt. We didn’t feel comfortable sitting on it without covering it first. The room itself was very basic, but due to the condition of the furniture, I didn’t feel comfortable even using the bedding. I ended up putting a t-shirt over the pillows just to feel at ease. We even went out to buy cleaning supplies ourselves because of how uncomfortable we felt. The bathroom was by far the worst part. The ceiling had visible mold, which was extremely concerning. We were in and out frequently, so it didn’t make sense at the time to go through the hassle of switching rooms, but we did inform the front desk about the hallway odor. They offered to spray, which they did, but it didn’t resolve the overall issue. Due to spring break timing, the price was very high, and it was absolutely not worth what we paid. For a property rated 7.5/10, this was very surprising "

"A hole. Desperate need of renovation. The lobby entry appears modern and clean but the remainder of the building is dated, unkept and unacceptable. We weren’t expecting anything luxurious, was a quick overnight, sleep and shower for us. our room door would not open and close without effort, the bathroom shower rod fixture was not secure and the bathroom door was taped together to secure the handle/cover missing pieces. No water pressure in the shower. The furniture in the room was busted, broken and ancient. The musty smell was nauseating. Hallway floors were stained and filthy. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was fine. Wouldn’t recommend even for a quick overnight. Highly disappointed. Minimal interaction with staff but check in/check out was easy. Didn’t check out the pool so can’t speak to its cleanliness/use. "

"This was one of the worst stays that I have ever had! I had to change rooms 3 times due to the fact that the room was dirty, stuff was broken, and because it was some of the staff was down right despicable! If it not been for 2 of the staff members, I would have lost my cool on the first night and demand that they shut down the place. Never again! They put a bad taste in my mouth for Laquinta Inn for me!"

"The state of the Hotel is horrendous. Room conditions need major attention from updates to cleaning. The hotel is not sound proof at all. You can hear everything from the connecting rooms and hallways. In addition the windows offer no sound proofing either. Everything from the parking lot below can be heard. One of our rooms booked the sink was damaged and actually had a section of the counter missing. To coffee machines can not be used because they don't not have the pod holder in any of them. They offered only toilet paper and shampoo in room had to ask for rest. Hotel also smells of pot and smoke. I do not recommend and wish I could get our money back. Non of us where able to get more than 3 hours of broken sleep. The place is very run down. The staff are inattentive and more focused of chatting among themselves. This property does not meet expectations of Expedia experience."

"This should not be called a resort,nothing resort of it. It’s also run down and needs a refresh. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our tv did not work in our room so they had to switch it from another room. "
