"Our stay at the Golden Gate Hotel made our San Francisco trip even more memorable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The hotel’s historic charm gave us a true San Francisco experience, and it was the perfect home base after our days of exploring the city.
The location was one of our favorite things about the hotel. We loved being in Nob Hill, a beautiful and quieter area away from some of the busier, more touristy parts of San Francisco, while still being close enough to easily enjoy everything the city has to offer. We were able to walk around the neighborhood, ride the famous cable cars, visit Alcatraz, explore Fisherman’s Wharf, and see so many of the iconic sights we came to experience.
After full days of adventure, it was nice to return to a peaceful and cozy hotel with so much character. The historic details and welcoming atmosphere made it feel like we were staying somewhere special, not just another hotel. The staff was kind and helpful, adding to the personal feel of our stay.
San Francisco was a trip we will always remember, and the Golden Gate Hotel was the perfect place to experience the city. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a charming, unique, and well-located hotel with a true San Francisco feel."
"Tout était parfait ! Le personnel serviable, les déjeuners excellents., accessibilité au parking directement du lobby était génial. L’emplacement à proximité du Pier 39 était parfait ! Je donne une note de 10/10.
Lors de notre prochain séjour à San Francisco,, je reprends une chambre au Riu Plaza Du Fisherman’s Wharf !!!"
"Our family of four with two daughters ages 9 and 14 unexpectedly ended up staying at Hotel Zephyr at the last minute and it was delightful. We tend to stick to the same hotel chains that have pools and free breakfast that our kids have come to expect, but going outside of our norm this time was really fun... The hotel looks kind of like a ship with pothole windows and has excellent parking. Our first impression was of the courtyard which is a whimsical place where you'd want to spend some time. Big lawn games and fire pits with art and it feels SO festive. We walked to the check in desk and were pleasantly greeted with friendly faces, along with bottles of water for each of us, two cute little bundles of s'mores supplies (sticks for toasting marshmallows are by the front desk), yo-yos, a coloring book and colored pencils, and cute little stuffed animals that could go on a backpack zipper for each of our daughters. It was SO unexpected and thoughtful. We enjoyed the game room and the decor was super fun all over. Our room was comfortable- a bit small and a tiny bit rough around the edges, but it was clean! The porthole window overlooking the sky wheel was so fun. There's a fridge in the room, and there were two microwaves in the area with the ice maker and a purified water dispensing machine. You can also walk through the courtyard into the restaurant and bar next door, and directly out to the piers. Also SO close to the big bus. We would definitely stay again."

"Room was clean and cozy. No views but it did have a window to allow for some natural light. Staff were nice and we were able to check in early. Parking is expensive and extra cost but it is valet. It is a convenient location to Fishermans wharf, Pier 39, and Pier 33. Breakfast was good."
"Liked excellent customer service. Fresh cookies on checkin. Manager happy hour with free drink and clam chowder. Casino shuttle and hot buffet breakfast. Clean corner room on third floor. Nice king bed, large soaking tub and separate shower. Separate toilet room. Room safe and hair dryer. Everything in room worked well."
"Hotel Caza made my trip to San Francisco even more memorable! The location was perfect—just a short walk to Fisherman’s Wharf, Pier 39, and so many great restaurants and attractions. The hotel was clean, modern, and had a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
The staff was friendly and accommodating from check-in to check-out, always happy to answer questions and offer recommendations. My room was comfortable, quiet, and spotless, making it easy to relax after a full day of exploring the city.
I also appreciated the great amenities and how well the property was maintained. Overall, Hotel Caza offered an excellent experience, and I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to San Francisco. Highly recommend!"
