"The Railway Hotel Heyfield is a fabulous hotel! In a prime position and with a welcoming staff it’s an ideal place to stay… My siblings and partners have just enjoyed a weekend bike ride -the Gippsland Plains Rail Trail- and stayed for 2 nights in Heyfield at the hotel.
We had one of the happiest, comfortable and memorable weekends we could remember. Dinners on both Friday and Saturday nights were delicious!
The staff were friendly and most helpful during our stay. We thank them for the hospitality and look forward to a return visit when we come back to do the ride again!!

"I've stayed at The Star Hotel several times now. My son is based at the RAAF Base, East Sale and The Star Hotel is very convenient as far as distance to the base, close to town and on site parking. All the staff are very friendly and professional.
