"The location of the Wynnstay Arms was excellent, with some nice pubs (e.g. Magic Dragon Brewery Tap or Nags Head mentioned on the CAMRA site) and restaurants close by (Fat Boar would be my recommendation). The shopping area of Wrexham is also within easy walking distance. The room was clean, although tired and bland. The bed was comfortable and temperature was just right. The corridors seemed oppressive, but just need a little decoration. The staff were mostly efficient and friendly, although the waitress at breakfast was busy, she was still cheerful and welcoming. There is a pub on site that does food, along with others nearby. There was ample parking and the area was quiet and safe, with the front of the hotel facing onto a pedestrianised area. Breakfast was served in the hotel and was good value. Although we came to Wrexham as an away fan to watch the football, there is lots of countryside outside of the town to enjoy, and we had a pleasant drive to Portmerion about an hour or so away. The football ground is about 20 minutes walk on flat land and the fans were friendly."

"Great location, 15 min walk to the game. It was a lil hard to find the apartment, but mostly due to us not understanding how to read the address correctly. The infloor heating was a nice addition."

"Overall the hotel is great but going back and forth to Wrexham station and Wrexham fc we ran up a £50 in taxi costs over 24hours . Excellent taxi company at general station. General areas of hotel superb having recently been renovated . Rooms adequate but not very good bathroom where was tight for room but also no cold water through the taps (?) . Maybe it was just our room ? "

"Room was dirty, ant traps everywhere, rotting skirting boards, dirty splashes of something on the wall. You can hear EVERY single noise from the rooms next door someone came in at 2am banging and shouting and then were walking about. You can hear every footprint rooms are ancient. Smells old fashioned, no facilities, just awful "
