"It's a wonderful place to bring the family. Especially if you have never been camping with children. There is the camper and also more space for tents if you want more space. To get to the river there is a cleared path that opens to a place to camp as well! You get the disconnection we all need with the ability to go to Moose Lake, Duluth and even better we found a place to stay when we visit family. Highly recommend family get away, alone or couple. Make sure you are prepared for deep wood ticks which was expected. Love it here!"

"This is a great place to stay if you need an inexpensive room. Room was much larger than expected with even a water view. It had everything I needed except for WiFi. I was on the end which was very quiet, but unfortunately the WiFi worked only near the office. I’d stay again but would ask for a room next to the office. Easy to get to Proctor and Duluth from this location."

"It had an inviting look from the outside, not trashy!! Inside was clean and clerk behind desk was friendly and appearance was very good!! Room was clean, bed was comfortable!! But could use a higher stool in the bathroom and wanted to wash a load of clothes and the washer and dryer were not in where we thought but did ask so was able to get it done!! Coffee needs some help, maybe different water?? But did enjoypur stay!! A mother/daughter weekend!! Had Fun!!"
