"We traveled here from Shelby NC, the place was super clean, all the necessities were stocked and neat, everything was in place, so you didn’t have to guess where anything was. "Used to stay here when it was the Blockade Runner and it was our first time back under new ownership. The renovations and face uplift are all very nice. The resort will feel familiar to past guests, but with more modern furniture and aesthetics. Still wish they would include the beach chairs and umbrellas as part of the room charge rather than as separate costs. Staff were excellent and the resort is still a great selection for Wrightsville Beach."

"Really loved our stay here. It can be challenging to find a spot that you can rent for a couple days this time of year, but this location was excellent. The pool is really clean. Rare to find a property where you don’t have to encounter a single step from your car to the beach, which could be a big selling point for some people.Just to note because others have mentioned it in their reviews- the unit is clean but it is dated. You can only get 30 year old bathroom fixtures to a certain degree of clean. This did not bother us and did not affect our stay at all. We would absolutely stay again."
