"I was there during a large conference (I was not part of the conference) and the hotel was totally understaffed. They had one or two people at the front desk. The bar/restaurant ran out of food and tap beer, and they only had one bartender on duty. He was very good but had too many customers. Also, they put me in a room that looked out on the conference floor so it was loud and there was food tables set outside on the 6th floor. Stay away from the 6th floor. They did move me because I needed to be able to rest and open the curtains without everyone at the conference seeing me. It was an odd setup on that floor. Once moved the room was nice and comfortable. The area wasn't the best. As I entered the hotel a woman was getting arrested at the hotel. In the evening there was police activity outside the hotel. It looked like youth fighting. Overall it is a nice hotel but it is huge and if you have problems walking a long distance with bags you may want to stay somewhere else. There is one elevator shaft, and you end up doing a lot of walking to get to your room if on the other side of the hotel. "

"The hotel itself was okay. After calling 5x's with no answer house keeping did finally respond to my request for an extra blanket and a set of towels. 2 hours later they did bring it to the room. I went to take a shower that evening the water was cold. I called guest services and maintenance showed up made an adjustment where it was now lukewarm. I was just like whatever, its better than it was. BTW the maintenance guy was excellent. Then we had to stare at a pile of soiled linen stacked up right across from our room for the two days we were there. I only saw housekeeping 1 time in the hotel, and that was when they answered my request. The staff was friendly overall. The expeience, I would definitely not stay here again because of it."

"For a Hyatt Place in the nice part of Baltimore that this was located, it felt worlds away from what I was hoping for or expecting. Lots of things either broken or unhinged, unfriendly staff, were always lacking what I was looking for and just overall not great "

"Parking was safe and easy, the staff was kind, but the room was dirty and there was a dirty used dildo behind the TV. "

"Staff was very friendly and helpful. Older hotel with a lack of modern amenities. Parking beneath the hotel was expensive and poorly lit. I would probably make a different choice next time I visit the Johns Hopkins university area of Baltimore. "

"The apartment was located in a really great location -- quiet and peaceful but easy to access local restaurants and to get to downtown. Comfortable beds, very quiet, very clean -- lots of thoughtful touches. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!"

"This is a nice place to stay. For our needs, it was in a great location. It was stocked with all necessary amenities: extra blankets and sheets, towels and washcloths in every bathroom, and toiletries - if you forgot something, you could probably find it. The kitchen had all the necessities.We were there in the winter. We did have an issue where the 2 front rooms were very cold and the 2 back rooms were very warm. We could never find the sweet spot. We thought there may be another heating zone and asked the host if we missed a thermostat. The host responded quickly and offered to send someone to take a look as there was only 1 zone. Since we were leaving for the day, we didn’t want anyone to come over when we weren’t there, so we made do. The folks sleeping in the front room just piled on more blankets. For the back room, we slept with the doors open or cracked.The only reason I deducted a star is due to cleanliness. On the whole, the place was clean. However, a couple of the bathtubs had not been cleaned very well and there was obvious dirt still in the tubs. In the kitchen, the dish drainer really needs to be replaced as there was residue and scum all over it. We couldn’t put clean dishes in it. Additionally, the floors were dirty. I normally wear slipper socks, but they picked up so much dirt and hair (including pet hair), in less than hour, I had to buy slippers. By the time we left, the brand new slippers looked as if I had worn them outside. "
