I got this room for about 60% of the official price making it about the same price as the nearby IBIS or Travelodge - the original price would NOT JUSTIFY it’s four star rating but if you agree it’s really only a three star hotel, it’s fine. The hotel is right next to a petrol station if you need to top up, had just about enough parking on the front to fit a lot of cars in and is absolutely five minutes into the airport - brilliant. Reception was a bit understaffed and okay after some warming up, the room has two beds next to one another and they are a little bit harsh, the air conditioning is brilliant, the snack bar and restaurant leave a bit to be desired, the food itself being very good but the staff are really not quite at the races (ordered wine to go with my steak and she forgot and then was a little bit surly about it). But if you get it at 60% it’s a fine place to stay.

Location is excellent with easy access to bus and restaurants. Room is large and bright and comfortable. Breakfast was lacklustre. Menu is unchenged for our 4 days stay, ost disappointing is the dry quiche with undercooked potato masquerading as Spanish potato omlette, a popular breakfast item throughout Spain, Assortment of menu items is not generrous. For some reason, the faucets in the tub and wash basin are both loose.

I am an ambulatory wheelchair user and the hotel responded to my queries before the stay in a timely manner. We had a classic suite - it was very nice to have a proper sofa in the room and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't use the mini-kitchen facilities in the room as we ate breakfast on the terrace each morning but useful if you don't fancy going out. Breakfast was very tasty - each morning there was a bowl of pastries, juice, yogurt and fruit and then we chose from a menu - can thoroughly recommend the scrambled egg. Our days were made even brighter by Avril - a lovely cheerful, helpful waitress, who by the end of the week was anticipating our requests before we even made them. The pool is really just a little bigger than a hot tub, with jacuzzi bubbles and a fountain. I found it a little chilly (mid june) but it serves a purpose for cooling off and there are a few sunloungers to chill out on. We chose the hotel for its location - its not somewhere you would really go if you wanted to chill by the pool each day. The location of the hotel is brilliant - in the Placa de la Reina - virtually next door to the cathedral. There are a number of restaurants in the square and the atmosphere was really good at night. very vibrant. We ate regularly at Haus, and the Valencian Paella was delicious. We used the metro to travel from the airport, and to the beaches nearby. We had a fabulous holiday and would defiintely return to the same hotel if we visit again.

Very good location but hotel amenities felt cheap. Bed sheets felt like paper. Check in took a long time.
