"A quiet and peaceful hotel located in a rainforest village, perfect for enjoying nature. The place was very clean, and communication with the staff was great. They responded quickly and handled issues efficiently. The only small downside was that the mattress was a bit too soft. Overall, a very pleasant stay."

"Very clean and spacious room. Very comfortable bed. Staff was amazing and so friendly! Location is perfect, right by the plaza. Will definitely be back. "
"Great location close to the beach. Loved the pools and the staff was amazing. We stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. The only issue is that we couldn't use the TV. I am planning on going back next year!

"There truly are no words that would capture the magic of this place. It is up in the mountains of Bayamon. Upon entering, you are greeted by your host—Pedro and Yohandra. They have situated three cabins on their 20+ acre property. The cabins are exceptionally arranged to include a deck overseeing the lush green rainforest mountains, beautiful art work and (I can only speak for the cabin I stayed in), a shower that opens up to the landscape of the rainforest. In the evening you will be entertained by an orchestra of Coqui’s, birds, peacocks and a variety of other insects and creatures that I could not possibly name. Here’s the kicker. If what I have already shared doesn’t have you running to make a reservation, the on-site chef will definitely get you there. Ema is a phenomenal chef. Blending ingredients to create masterfully delicious meals. If they gave Michelin stars in PR, he would have already received several. Add to that, Mama (the owner’s mom). I had the special treat of experiencing a homemade Cuban dessert made by her. Once I tasted her papaya dessert, it’s the one I ordered every day as my evening treat. And what a treat it was. This place is an oasis of tranquility, restoration and peace. Once my husband and I arrived on the property, we did not leave until it was time to go home. Mont Carpe Diem is just what my mind, body and soul needed. I cried as I said my goodbyes to a family that poured love into a soul that was depleted. "
OCEAN VIEW VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL ,STEPS FROM SECLUDED BEACH, GATED COMMUNITY!
10/10 Excellent
"Such a gorgeous home. Honestly the pics don’t do it justice. The views from the front of the house are breath taking!! Stunning morning light. I love the hardwood floors which are so hard to find in PR. So much space and HIGH ceilings. The master bed was so comfy! The proximity to the beach is also a HUGE bonus for families. We spent our first and last day just enjoying the beach at the house. Just about a minute walk down the street. There is a small cove to the left protected by rocks and is the perfect place for snorkeling. There are also decent waves on the main beach which the kids loved. If you walk down to the right there’s cute swing on the south end that looks great for pics. There were usually just one or two groups on the entire beach. Very laid back and peaceful. Our kids also loved the backyard pool. It was nice to have as an option but we loved the beach the best. Definitely would recommend."
Beautiful oceanfront property with pool and amenities to relax
10/10 Excellent
"This vacation home was a beautiful getaway and excellent base for day trips around the island. One of my favorite rental homes so far in our global travels! The house is clean and generously furnished with all the basics and MORE. The location is close enough to grocery stores and Wal-Mart so it’s easy to run out and get everything else you want and need, but just far enough away to have that remote beach vibe. The beach is what a local explained as a “surfers beach”, and we didn’t play in the waves after seeing their intensity; BUT, there’s an area to the far left of the beach that is protected by huge rocks that provide a serene place to SAFELY swim and snorkel. Also, if you hike (in shoes only) past/around the rock wall to the far left you will find incredible seashells and rocks that lay untouched for a few hundred yards. Even our 10year old enjoyed that adventure! The hosts have curated this property to remind you of a secret garden. The pool is perfectly clean, and the deck/patio is full of chairs and anything you need for pool or beach play. They have all the towels you’ll need….the GOOD kind of towels that remind you of a high-end hotel. The beds are clean and comfortable. The washer/dryer was helpful since we travel with carry-on’s only. The hosts are wonderful and kind and answered all our questions quickly. Their home has a warm sense of peace and calm and that reflects how much love and care they’ve poured into it for their own family and friends. "
"The room was clean and was a great surprise in a time of need when there were no rooms anymore in San Juan due to the amazing liberation of Venezuela which caused a minor inconvenience to the rest of us for delay in flights. A small price for ridding the good people of the stain of Maduro. "
