The hotel is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The staff members were consistently professional, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. "Yes this room is tiny and frankly difficult to navigate in room with two people. You really can’t beat the location. Walking distance from lots of fun things to see and do. We booked two rooms for basically price of one- I really can’t complain."

"Stayed here for a few days at the end of our trip. The location is excellent, right near Osaka Castle. We had a room with a view of the castle and river, and it was wonderful. The area is very quiet, and surrounded by other high end hotels, and business offices. The staff at the Otani is beyond attentive to your needs, and go the extra step to make you feel welcome. Rooms come with a nice sized soaking tub, and all toiletries one might need, including toothbrush and toothpaste. We arrived early, and were able to check in early at no extra cost. We were also surprised with a some sweets and a card in recognition of my birthday, which fell during our stay. We opted for a triple room, and each of us had our own bed, which was nice. There is a breakfast buffet available which is very convenient, and numerous boutiques, and restaurants to choose from. There's also a Family Mart and Mister Donut nearby, as well as other small coffee shops and eateries. We opted to have a fancy dinner to celebrate my birthday, at the Sakura restaurant, and it was by far one of the best fancy meals I have had in a long time. Worth the splurge, as it was pricier than anything we had during our trip. Will definitely go back to the Otani."

"Very new hotel. The room was clean and modern. Very quiet as well. Location is away from the hustle and bustle but shopping and food was within a 15-to 20-minute walk. Staff was really helpful. All around a great experience."
