Merci à la belle équipe de réceptionnistes: Denise, Mildred et Elizabeth vous avez été à l'écoute, super avenantes et souriantes. Merci à l'équipe du Safoutier pour le petit déjeuner toujours au top, une mention spéciale à Larissa qui était déjà à l'écoute l'année dernière et qui reste fidèle à elle...

"L'Hôtel est situé dans le centre de Yaoundé mais à l'écart de la circulation et à l'ombre des arbres dans un cadre très agréable. Restaurant -bar agréable avec terrasse. Chambre en bon état général, climatisation efficace et silencieuse. La salle de bain mériterait d'être refaite en particulier la baignoire mais c'est OK pour prendre une douche, avec une bonne pression d'eau. Propreté OK."

"Not really up to minimal standard for international guests. Only one of the staff was at all bilingual. Kitchen by hit or miss: "no gas" for two days meant no meals, no coffe, etc. Sullen bartender gave every indication of beIng inconvenienced when I wanted a beer. Desk clerk unwilling or unable to book a reliable taxi-- a big problem in Yaounde. Better spend a bit more money To get reasonable service."

"Fairly cheap budget hotel in a relatively central location. The room was clean and the breakfast was ok. We were randomly charged £20 at the end of the stay for reasons completely unknown."

"Major problem: dirty (brown!) water flowing in the sink and the shower. When reported to Hotel Management, they only said that “the hotel is not responsible”, that “I should just wait for the water to clear”. This happened 4 days out of my 9-day stay. Shocked and disappointed that the Hotel Management is not acknowledging the health risks for its customers. I sent an email to the owner, Mme Françoise Puene (Mamy) Nyanga. She did not respond. "The reservation process needs to be reviewed: for a second time this year, I arrived only to find out that they did not have my reservation. Apparently, according to the property, reservations are not transmitted to them in a timely manner. Let’s work on this Expedia, so we can avoid the embarrassment of arriving and being told that they do not have our room!"
