"A very modern glass fronted building. Open plan ground floor containing reception, bar restaurant seating and breakfast bar. The rooms were clean with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The only problems were: no wardrobe, just 4 coat hangers on a trapeze in the corner, no drawers, you had to live ..."

"Byecross has the WOW factor! It's a beautiful family home, sympathetically furnished and decorated to its 1920s build. Could do with a lick of paint here and there, but with lots of little ones running around it took the edge off worrying and you could just let them play in peace. The garden is amazing ..."

Bustling place with lots of eating out options during the day and in the evening. However, if you want take away meals in the evening they are very limited ( and from restaurants) so are not necessarily open till late.

Whilst on the IoW we visited Osborne House and the Preserved Steam Railway. Both were worth the visit, but our stay was mainly because of business reasons.

Lots of places to eat in the evening within easy walking distance, and more during the day! We ate out every night of our 3 night stay at The George, OnThe Rocks and Salty’s. All very differentBut all had great food and atmosphere.
