Top Yellowstone National Park South Entrance Hotel Reviews
Colter Bay Village
8/10 Good
"Room was very big and the beds were comfortable. Even though it states it in the description, not having a fridge or tv in the room was disappointing and there was plenty of room for it."
Headwaters Lodge & Cabins at Flagg Ranch
10/10 Excellent
"Enjoyed staying here for our base to explore the southern and and western part of Yellowstone. Very close to Aouth entrance of park. Beds were comfortable and room was spacious. Restaurant on site was very good"
Grant Village - Inside the Park
8/10 Good
"The room was clean. The reception staff was friendly. Tons of parking between the two buildings. Breakfast was offered at the nearby by Grant Village Dining Room but they do not accept reservations for breakfast or lunch. They only had 3 waiters so many tables remained empty with a 30 minute wait. Our experience with the breakfast was less than desirable due to the major delay mainly caused by the waitstaff."
Jackson Lake Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful place to stay. Million dollar view from the main hotel. Great staff! Good food in their restaurants and bar too."
Buffalo Valley Ranch
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed one night in the tipi. They provide sheets, but no pillow or blanket. This was expected, so we had prepared. The bathrooms are in desperate need of cleaning and upgrades. But the staff was friendly and I got to pet horses. Overall it was a good stay. It is also a great location with a lovely view."
Grand Targhee Resort
8/10 Good
"The person above us made a lot of noise walking around the room- wooded creaky floors! Trash behind the night stand. Bed not very comfortable. Pretty resort though."
Old Faithful Snow Lodge & Cabins - Inside the Park
10/10 Excellent
"Really nice log cabin style accommodation. Quite small but cosy. We stayed during the summer which was nice, however, winter would be great as there are lots of blankets and the rooms have radiators."
2/2 Cabin with Loft Nestled next to National Forest
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect location to visit both parks"
Beautiful Moran Home with spectacular Teton Views
10/10 Excellent
"We had an amazing time at this property. The host was very gracious and forthcoming and quick to respond to any question that I had. We enjoyed going into the town of Jackson, thoroughly enjoyed Whitewater rafting, the younger ones and I enjoyed a scenic trip on the snake river. Make sure you make reservations at the Gun BARREL and Local in town and also Turpin Meadows Ranch which de-wrangle’s the horses every day at 5:30. You can follow that up with a five star meal of locally sourced meat and produce, and it’s only 20 minutes away. If you are interested in fishing, we rented a boat a fishing boat for the day at Colter Bay for 300 and all five of the kids went . They loved it, and stayed out there all day. The hike at Jenny Lake was amazing. There is another hike at Colter Bay to Huron Lake? I believe that was awesome, but they shut down some of it because there was a mama grizzly with her Cubs in the area. The house provided bear spray, which we took, but thankfully did not need and graciously left for Future guests. Another issue we had coming from the east was the dry air. My solution was to fill the crockpot with water and put it on high for about 5 to 6 hours a day that seemed to help a little bit. Great trip!!!"
