"Stunning location by the river. Remote and peaceful. Don't take a big car!!! Its a narrow track to the cottage!!!
Well equipped kitchen. Lovely outside decking area. Comfortable lounge. Very helpful neighbours and hosts.
Our only complaint was the very noisy boiler which woke the whole house up every morning !"

"Staying here for the graduation of my daughter, this is an ideal location.
Just a slight negative:
As there is no car park on site, it was a bit of a hassle to drop off our stuff and check in. Then there was the trek to get to our room. Regrettably, no lifts, so dripping in sweat when we got to our room. Once, everything was in the room, it was a case of driving our car to one of the designated car parks, and then walking back(took circa 15-18minutes).
This is really the only very slight issue.
Weigh this up with the fact that you are on campus, and everything is in easy walking distance.(Exeter town centre is only about 1.5miles away). The breakfast is excellent too.
The cherry on the cake was the awesome sunset and view.
To sum up, highly recommended to anyone staying for a graduation or other event."
"This hotel is always my go to when staying in the area. It's in a beautiful location, quiet and well placed to travel to the areas I need to go. The rooms are great no matter what ones you get. Facilities are fantastic, and as I understand it the golf courses superb, I certainly enjoy running around them early in the morning before the balls start flying."
"House keeping not the best service staff excellent tiled the bathroom but could have done the floor with lose tiles and dirty grouting but food was excellent "
"Very well-positioned hotel close to the center of the city and a local train station. It doesn’t have air conditioning in the rooms which usually doesn’t matter in the UK but we were there during a heatwave. However, they provide fans, and promptly switched one out when it didn’t work. Helpful staff."
"Hotel is in a great location with the most spectacular views across the bay. It’s comfortable and the interior is well maintained. The exterior and gardens need some love. Food is plentiful and staff were very helpful and friendly."
"The staff in this hotel without exception were all very very personable and proud to be part of their team. Never quite encountered such a genuine group. Don’t forget to give the succulents a little water in the bar restaurant though!"
