If you go there, you better have a car: impossible to get avtaxi from the RER station, hotel personnel didn’t help with transport either. Very old condition, though the room was clean. Limited choice for breakfast and breakfast room extremely dark. Wi-fi connection was terrible. Not really recommended for a business trio, it can be charming for other type of trip.

Historical building, no modern features can bè found, like TV, Wi-Fi (It is not working) or mini-bar. The breakfast is good, especially the fruit juice and the selection of cheeses

The place had a bad smell. Like your granny’s house in the eightys . No food on the Monday eve when I arrived . On a positive note the grounds outside was lovely.

Lovely stay in an old chateau that is about an hour south from CDG airport. Rooms are large and slightly worn, but have great character. Great restaurant.

Château du Maréchal de Saxe
This French chateau gives the opportunity to see how people used to live. High ceilings, original features, fairly modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water and a restaurant serving high quality food. Quiet and peaceful set in ample parkland for good long walks, and also within walking distance of the amenities of pretty Yerres. Staff very helpful.

The stay was lovely but the meals could offer more vegetarian choices idem for breakfast. Healthy options would be welcome!

A splendid chateau, attended by rollicking sheep
The chateau is extremely beautiful, but what most impressed my wife was the dozens of sheep that traveled through the front garden of the chateau when we arrived. The baby sheep were jumping all over each other and having a wonderful time. That was one of the best highlights of our trip.

Great service and beautiful building
Beautiful building with retained period features. Excellent reception staff who organised a taxi to take us to Orly airport and allowed us to park the car at the hotel for the duration of the holiday. Breakfast could have been a bit better but overall a great place to stay, full of character with very helpful service.

Great place to stay
We really enjoyed staying at Château du Maréchal de Saxe. If you're flying from Orly make sure you have plenty of time and a planned route to the airport in advance. We missed our flight because of 3 hours of traffic, and the airport is very close.

We spent the last night of our holiday in Paris before heading home to the UK and booked a room here. We felt very lucky to have stayed in such a beautifull historical French Chateau and we would stay there again if a suite was available. Had a lovely swim and stroll around the grounds. The only downsides were that the staff only spoke to us at check in/out and no restaurant details, offer of help or any hotel info was offered. My husband was very dissapointed with the self service breakfast we had and the lack of choice and again, no staff to assist in breakfast room.

Great place just outside of Paris
Having just landed in Paris after a 19 hour flight from Australia we found the Chateau du Marechal de Saxe to be just the right distance to travel. We found the staff very helpful both during our stay and while trying to order in the restaurant. They were very patient with our lack of French and our dinner and breakfast the following morning were terrific. Extensive grounds to wander in and the pool and cross trainer were an added bonus.

Castle outside Paris with big garden
Castle 30 min from central Paris w train plus 10 min by car to the local station. Slightly run down but very beautiful! Huge gardens, perfect for dogs and walks. Very inexperienced staff, but friendly. Dinner is available but too expensive for the quality although the deco is amazing.

très joli château malgré sa vétusté, avec un beau parc dommage que l'on ne nous ai pas indiqué que la piscine était ouverte et il manque un pare douche sur la baignoire pour ne pas innonder la belle salle de bain personnel très accueillant bon sejour

Hotel affascinante. La camera (in una dependance) si raggiunge con una scala abbastanza scomoda ma originale dell'epoca della struttura. Abbastanza curato il restauro ma (anche in questo caso) vincolato dalla struttura originale: una trave disturba l'accesso al letto, un'altra impedisce di fare la doccia in piedi. In ogni caso il fascino compensa abbondantemente questi difetti. Lo consiglio e ci tornerei! Incomparabili le sale riservate al ristorante.

Cadre très sympathique pas commun, reposant.
Le séjour s'est très bien passé, bonne détente. Possibilité de rejoindre la gare de Yerres où il y a le RER direct pour le centre de Paris. La promenade dans le Parc de l'hôtel est super plus une belle piscine couverte. J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'ambiance sereine et libre.

Cet établissement est d'un aspect extérieur très classe. Mais ... La pièce ''petit déjeuner'' est défraichie Le petit déjeuner est basic mais juste suffisant. Petit déjeuner devait être prêt pour 7h30 non non, c'est à 7h30 qu'ils commencent a le mettre en place... enfin bref

Il n'y a que l'apparence du Château
il a fait très froid dans la chambre cette nuit la. De plus la télévision n'avait que 3 chaines TFI, France 2 et la 11. Pour moi qui suis légèrement insomniaque ce fut une nuit très, très longue. Pour finir le matin vers 6h45 à la réception j'ai du attendre 20 minutes car personne ne répondait. Pas terrible.

Helemaal goed voor relatief lage prijs. Alleen geen restaurant op zondag maar wel in de buurt. Prima ontbijt en bij open raam hoor je in de stilte de uilen op het domein . In de verte soms een vliegtuig .

En arrivant devant le perron de l'hôtel çà impressionne. J'ai séjourné dans l'annexe du château, la chambre n'est pas très grande, mais suffisante. La salle de bain est équipée d'une baignoire. Dernier point, le prix du petit déjeuner, 16 euros, çà ne les faut pas. Petit croissant, petit pain au chocolat, mini baguette, jus de fruits et très peu de charcuteries.

Un cadre idyllique et très romantique !
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la dépendance qui se trouve derrière le château. Cadre magnifique, belle chambre pour un prix très raisonnable ! Je n'aurais jamais espéré pouvoir m'offrir une chambre dans ce château, je suis ravie !

4 nuits tranquilles, ce qui était parfait pour moi. la chambre dans les dépendances, n'était pas appropriée pour mes besoins. je suis en voyages d'affaire. très peu de lumière et pas confortable la petite table sous les escaliers.
