The building outside and the lobby looks alright, but inside the room is old and the armchair is already worn out. Mattress and pillows too soft. Definitely need some maintenance work. Facilities not the best neither. There is no coin laundry. Won’t provide an extra pillow when we asked for it. Service is the worst I have experienced in Japan hotel. The hotel staff has the attitude that it is what it is, and show no care. We have 2 bookings for 3 nights in total. I have sent emails to them through multiple channels ( Expedia, hotel’s inquiry form, and directly emailing them), trying to make sure they will combine the bookings. No reply whatsoever. And when we arrived, we were told that we need to check out and check in again. When I try to clarify their meaning of check out and check in, all I have got is ‘that is how the system works’. Basically, I have to return the room key before 11am, but I can leave my luggage in the room. And they will only give me the room key again after 3 pm. What a saga. I have stayed in multiple hotels in Japan , sometimes make an additional booking for an extra night as my original itinerary changed, never has experienced this kind of trouble. The most frustrating part is that they didn’t reply to any of my emails when I make the inquiry. Well, I guessed that’s their service standard from the get go- don’t care.

客室は広々としていて改装されていることも有り綺麗で有ったが、浴室は古さが感じられた。 またチェックイン時に朝食無しと間違われ、こちらから指摘。 (これはホテルでは無く根本は他の客の問題だと思うが) 部屋の前の廊下に椅子が2〜3時間置き去りにされており、これもフロントに指摘して初めて気付いた様子だった。 スタッフの人数が足りていないのか仕組みや教育が不足しているのかはわからないが、少し残念だった。
