This location is unbeatable if you compare it to other rentals nearby–you'll be 170 yards away from the ocean and a short two-and-a-half-mile drive or walk from downtown York where dining options, convenience stores, and grocery stores abound. You'll have two incredible beaches nearby; Long Sands, which is two blocks away, and Short Sands, which is two and a half miles away and is the perfect beach to visit with the kids. There you can find a public playground, several basketball courts, and a lush open lawn area. Downtown York boasts a plethora of dining options if you'd like to treat the crew to delicious local meals. Plan a fun, family trip to York's Wild Kingdom, a zoo and amusement park combo! Make sure you visit the Nubble Lighthouse (less than three miles away), which sits on top of the Cape Neddick Nubble, a very small rocky island. It might not be the most impressive lighthouse, but it's a wonderful sight to experience, especially during Christmas.
