"We enjoyed this property immensely. The communal spaces are large and open, while the bedrooms were so cozy. The ocean is right across the street and absolutely gorgeous. The location was right near everywhere we needed to be (we were in town for a wedding). We flew into Boston and getting to the rental from there was very easy. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"Was nice, but think they could have more updated furniture/ essentials. Have to bring your own linen, cheap 4 cup Mr. Coffee pot, have to bring own toilet paper and no washes/ shampoos etc provided. Think the listing needs to say this."

"We were not happy with the property, pictures made it seem bigger than what it was. Very old inside, shower leaked in the main house, a chair broke with someone sitting in it, hurt her back. Very musty smelling, furniture old. We did not like that the owner lived right on the property, felt liked we we’re always being watched coming & going. Old plastic roped tablecloth on the table, not cleaned very well, pails in bedroom still had garbage in them. Would not recommend 😔"

"We absolutely loved our stay! The cottage was exactly what we needed as a family of three. Nicely stocked kitchen, cute breakfast nook, and a nice little living room to hang out in after a day at the beach. The walk was no more than 5 minutes to short sands. Quiet neighborhood, so sitting outside in the patio area was so relaxing. The owners were super sweet and very responsive to our questions and concerns! We cannot wait to return again!"

"We had a great stay at this home in York. It is well appointed for a beach house, it was clearly professionally cleaned, and it has a cool old charm to it. Perfect location right on the beach. Just be aware that the basement is occupied by a relative of the owner and their dog. We didn’t have a problem during our stay but did have to share parking and be mindful of the other person on the property."

"Inside of the property is really cute & clean. Outside could use a little TLC. If you choose this property, don't make the mistake we did and assume there are pot holders & oven mitts, only to find out there are none when you need them most! You'll need to bring your own as they are not considered to be "basic supplies" but the property owners."
