"My 6-year-old loved using an actual key for entry and turning the knob. The beds were very comfortable! Cute place to stay and would stay again. Staff at the front desk was the nicest we experienced on our East Coast trip. Clean and unique experience. If you have any mobility issues - this location is not for you. The stairs didn’t bother us but my husband lugged everything up. The bathroom is updated and clean but you cannot shut the door while entering without kind of shifting or stepping over the toilet to close. Again- not a huge issue for us but I would imagine an elderly person falling over."

"We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was nostalgic, but clean, cozy and inviting. Breakfast , included, was good, and some mornings great. Staff was all pleasant and helpful. Can't wait until next year. Hope the remodel does not remove the vintage New England vibe because that's what most ppl visiting New England are looking for. Beautiful place. Quiet stay aside from neighbors door slamming shut multiple times a day. Not a deal breaker. Location is good."
