"I originally had plans to stay elsewhere, but once I realized how close this hotel was to my work site, I switched — and I’m so glad I did. I had never heard of Qualicum Beach Inn before, but I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I arrived. The staff were some of the nicest people I’ve ever encountered while traveling. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the front desk was incredibly helpful with all of our questions and needs. The shuttle service was a huge bonus, especially since ride options in the area are limited if you don't want to drive. I stayed one night and had breakfast at the in‑house restaurant — everything on the menu looked amazing, and what I ordered was excellent. By the end of my trip, I didn’t want to leave. I’ll definitely find an excuse to come back and spend more time here. Thank you again to the team at Qualicum Beach Inn for making my stay so enjoyable!"

"Pros: Kids loved the outdoor pool and hot tub! The pool is slightly heated; not super warm but a good swimming temp. The kids loved getting colouring sheets and crayons on arrival too. Great location and very friendly front desk employees. Nice to be able to walk next door to Cedars for dinner, or grab a few munchies from the front desk in the evening. We enjoyed sitting on the huge deck in the evenings, having a BBQ, and walking down to the beach. We shall be back. Minor cons: Some of the info in the emails etc. is probably a little outdated, e.g. all rooms do actually have aircon, and you can't order some things to the room for your arrival like sand toys. The kids found the sofa bed a little uncomfy (creaky) and aircon/fridge very noisy."

Everything exceeded my expectations and gave me a true sense of peace and relaxation. The resort has a beautiful beachfront and the surrounding grounds are absolutely stunning. The atmosphere is quiet, serene, and perfect for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, making me feel at home throughout my stay. My room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. I truly enjoyed my time here and left feeling refreshed and relaxed. I highly recommend Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway on Vancouver Island. I will definitely be back!"

"Overall, the property was quite nice. My wife was enthralled that they had complimentary razors at the front desk. The included breakfast was perfect. When we came back to the hotel Saturday evening, there was a considerable garbage mess outside, empty beer cans, fast food stuff etc I have worked in the unhoused sector, so I’m very aware of how this can happen, just an observation as we came in"

"Our second year in a row staying here while we visit family. This year they were neck deep in Reno’s but the staff were super friendly and welcoming, and all the amenities were still open and available, with everything kept clean and tidy despite drop cloths and partitions put up everywhere. If we can still have a comfortable, pleasant stay in the midst of all that - we’re already excited to see how the Reno’s turn out when we come back next year!"
