Great for couples possibly not for families.
Stayed for one night. The rooms are small but very well decorated and spotlessly clean. We had booked through Expedia and I had requested a cot to be placed in the room. The hotel had not received this request but the owner went out of her way and gave me the choice of available rooms left that could accommodate the cot. Breakfast was delicious and service was excellent. The only issue was the mattress in our room was soft and springy but that’s possibly a personal taste/comfort thing. I would recommend a stay here as it is in the centre of town and service was excellent.

I appreciate your comments about our spotless accommodation, decor, breakfast always cooked to order, and our hospitality - thank you. We love to share our historic home with our Guests and we care for anything we can do to make it more enjoyable. You reserved our smallest double room and I was not aware you were travelling with a baby until you arrived. I am sorry I could not offer you any of the three bigger bedrooms as they were all booked that evening. Our guests' sound night sleep is extremely important to us. We furnished our beds with high quality hybrid mattresses to meet as best as possible different preferences. I am really chuffed you recommend Devon View House and I hope to welcome your family and you again, perhaps to our Family room next time. Best wishes

Lovely stay!
Lucy the hostess was lovely, she even dropped two glasses of wine to our room on arrival. Great location, everything was within walking distance. Felt very safe regarding Covid-19. Definitely would stay again.

We were greeted by Lucy, who showed us to our room, which was amazing 😃 She gave us advice where to eat that night, which was much appreciated. Breakfast the next morning was delicious. Could not fault a thing.

The owner is a very pleasant and polite lady. The B&B is exceptionally clean and tidy. The full Irish breakfast was very tasty and filling.# Nothing was under cooked or over cooked. Made to perfection, very satisfying. There was also fruit, cereal and yogurts. Orange juice, and hot beverages were also available. The location is also great

First class from the word go. Beautiful house and a very nice couple running it. Central to all amenities in Youghal. Would recommend.

Cute pit stop and delicious breakfast!
This was a good pit-stop making our way back towards Dublin. My huband really enjoyed this town because he liked getting to know some locals at the near by pub. The room was Victorian style and super cute. The breakfast was excellent. Our hostess brought out hot fresh baked bread for us to dive into. The sausage with our Irish breakfast was delicious. It was from a local butcher shop. It was just a top-notch breakfast.

Fantastic.

Conveniently located, Peaceful, Welcoming B&B
We appreciated our hostess, Sharon, for her generous hospitality and tips about the area. We had a very comfortable stay, and felt very well-provided for. The location is very peaceful and quiet, but conveniently located within a quick cab or bus ride to the Dublin Airport. It is also in a very walkable neighborhood with lots to do.

Devon View for a great stay in Youghal
We really enjoyed our stay at Devon View House and the service provided was exceptional. Lucy who runs the B & B is such a helpful person and we would definitely recommend this guest house as a great place to stay while visiting Youghal. Make sure you have the Irish breakfast as it sets you up for the day.

The room was amazing. However, it was FREEZING in the room. The host turned the heat on when we checked in and it would heat for a bit, the off.. A warmer room, a 5+. The breakfast was wonderful. The locatiin great as well.

Thank you Steve for your compliments on your recent stay. I’m glad you enjoyed your break in Youghal and described our B&B amazing, with wonderful breakfast and conveniently located. Regarding the room temperature, the guests are in control of it and set it to however warm or cold they like (we do turn off the heating when the rooms are being serviced and turned around by the staff and then half an hour before check in time heating kicks back in, controls are in each bedroom so the guest can adjust it).

Loved our stay. Lucy was so warm and welcoming. Our room was in the 300 year old renovated building onsite. Stunning. Had a nice view of the water.. Enjoyed our stay.

A great new addition to accommodation in Youghal
This newly opened guesthouse is located in the heart of Youghal. The couple who have faithfully restored this old house were very helpful and enthusiastic and I expect many will enjoy their hospitality in the years to come. The homemade bread at breakfast and little details in the service they provide would give me no hesitation in recommending the Devonview to other guests.
