"We had an absolutely wonderful, peaceful stay! The home was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. Once the hosts found out I was in a wheelchair, they took the extra step to make sure everything was set up well and accessible for me, which meant the world to us. They truly are fantastic hosts.The location is great—the GAP trail is just a short drive away (definitely plan to drive rather than bike to the trailhead, as the roads around here are winding and hilly!), and the town of Confluence is very close for grabbing essentials or eating at a few nice local restaurants.The house itself is warm and super cozy—we loved just sitting by the fireplace in the two chairs, and the kitchen had everything we needed. All the thoughtful touches, like the fresh live flowers on the table, made it feel so welcoming.Our favorite part was simply sitting back and watching the wildlife—birds, squirrels, and chipmunks everywhere—and seeing the fall leaves drift down from the trees was mesmerizing. When the rain came down, the gentle creek outside filled right up and turned into a rushing torrent with some serious flow and incredible, soothing water sounds. It was the exact restful getaway we were hoping for. Highly recommend!"

"I want to start off by saying the host was absolutely amazing and very informative with a friendly personality like you have known them forever! The house was very clean and you can tell they care about your experience.. the lake was beautiful!! The road getting to the house is bumpy take it slow!! Make sure you follow the route the host tells you otherwise GPS will want you on goat path that’s awful! We enjoyed the hot tub and hanging out by the fire!! Kitchen had a nice selection of pans and utensils and some spices. There were games and a couple books as well as a cool hook it game by the fire.. above the home is a great place to drink some local wine and wind down!! Would stay here again!"

"Wonderful destination for a quiet, peaceful, and secluded vacation. The property was full of blooming golden rods and the trails through the meadow provided relaxing strolls. After a day of playing 18 holes of golf, the hot tub was also a much appreciated feature. My husband and I would definitely return for another relaxing weekend away from our kids!"
