"The staff were lovely, they were all so friendly and helpful especially Fay and Callum. The room was nice, had a Mountain View, bathroom had lovely shower, nice fluffy white towels. Everything lovely and clean, plugs by the bed and enough plugs in the room. Window shutters are great. But - there is no on-site parking, it states that there is. Parking is a public road opposite the hotel, free, but it gets very busy. And the restaurant was really noisy when we were there on a weekend. Good food."

"Great little place. As the weather was bad, we did a lot of stying in. Perfect for a couple. But I’d say a family hmm a push. There wasn’t anything that the owner wouldn’t do for us. Very very accommodating. Not a lot around the area except for pubs. The train and bus station is almost on the doorstep. Fabulous and would 10000% use this place again. Thank you."

"We had a nice week for RC slope flying in the region. The cottage is well equipped for all needs and for cooking for ourselves. A couple shops are close by. The surrounding landscape is great.Another option for preparing coffe other then the pad machine would've been a nice addition (filter holder or french press?).There was a bit of a fowl smell every time we came in, and we weren't able to locate it or get rid of it. But after a bit of ventilation it was ok.Communication with the host was quick and easy."
