"We stayed for one night on our trek down the ring road. Check in was easy, and check out was as well. There is a small kitchenette for guests to use if you are prepping meals as you go. However there is no refrigerator so be prepared to make simple things. The room was clean and well set until for our stay. Be warned, noise travels through the walls very easily! Overall, this was a great option for us. It is very fairly priced, and well located. "

"This was our second stay in a year’s time. If you don’t know what to expect, you may be surprised. It’s an old boarding school, so it has a cool factor. "No one was there when we arrived but we soon found out that they were over booked and we we put up in a nearby hotel that was of a much poorer quality for the same price. I have read other reviews saying that when they arrived they found out that the hotel was overbooked too so this might be a policy of theirs. Nice enough place otherwise but I would not recommend."

"This was a guesthouse where we were greeted by the owner as we drove up. She showed us our room, which was clean and comfortable. She also made wonderful pancakes for breakfast for everyone, it felt like a family meal. I would recommend to anyone wanting something other than the sterile hotel room experience. "
