The receptionist was very nice, she called a taxi for me multiple times. However the cleaning lady twice started to unlock the door to my room without knocking or checking with the reception if I was there. Other than that, the room was very comfortable with a spacious bathroom and well cleaned.

Great location, only a 10 minute walk from town. Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had an excellent selection of foods. Good value for the money.

Reasonable 2 star hotel, 15 min walk from station
This is a reasonable place, especially given that the city centre hotels were three times the price or full, it was very good value for money, and only 15 minute walk from Zagreb main station. The noise insulation to the corridor wasn't good, and the bed and bedding not of the highest quality, but for a two star hotel it was adequate. However it was clean and the lady on reception was good. I wouldn't have a problem staying here again although I do prefer my three and four star hotels.

Best bang for the buck
This hotel has it all! Great price, food, location and amenities. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. This hotel is located at just 15 minutes from the bus station and there are buses outside that pass every two minutes. It is super safe! We saw people walking or biking just outside even at 12:00am. When we arrived the check-in was lightning fast and when we got to our room it was sparkling clean. The hotel is very silent and it has a PC for you to use for free. Breakfast was great and tasty. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Zagreb.

Ok for a short stay
The hotel staff was great, but the room had some problems. We had to change rooms because of a door lock that was not working. The announcement said they offer free parking, but the car had to be parked on the street. Breakfast was good and the hotel staff was friendly.

a great hotel!
Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful. It was thanks to them our stay in zagreb was a great success! Few hotels are run so nicely ! They even cooked us a Xmas dinner! Location is very hood, 10 min walk to the tram for the city centre. 15 min walk to the lesinksy concert hall!

You get what you pay for
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (fri & sat). Hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the train station. It’s in the newer part of Zagreb. Takes about 35 minuets to walk to the sights of the old town. However on the plus side if you stay at this location you walk past brilliant fountains which are set to music and lights on a weekend evening. There are bus services outside the hotel but we walked the whole time. As for the hotel, the receptionist who greeted us was very polite and check in was simple. We were booked into a quadruple room. This was located right at the service desk. It was two rooms that had been adapted so one of the rooms had no windows or any natural day light. The room that did have windows was basically located on the front of the hotel and on the car park. The room was clean but very tired. In massive need of renovating. The worst part was the bathroom. Had a very bad sewage smell and the shower had no way of hooking up. The free wifi didn’t work on the Friday night but did on the Saturday. This hotel is obviously budget and probably the reasons for the issues. For a couple of nights it’s doable but wouldn’t like to stay longer. Can’t fault the staff and they even emailed to say our son had left his sunglasses and if we wanted them sent on. If we hadn’t stayed here we would have missed the fountains as they aren’t mentioned in a lot of the guides and are worth a weeken nights visit.

This is our second stay to this hotel as we were taking our flight back home a few days later. Surprising that this hotel is only rated two stars. The only draw back would be the lack of restaurant within walking distance to this hotel.

Good value for money overnight stay
The hotel was nice enough considering it was a little dated. We had a very cheap overnight stay which included breakfast. Was too far out from the centre to walk safely but only cost about £3 in an Uber.

a good overnight stop
we enjoyed our stay at hotel fala. they had good signs to help locate them. room was clean and comfortable. the breakfast was excellent with eggs cooked while we filled our plates from the buffet. we would definitely stay again.

A-ok.
This one is tough... Honestly the place was great; the sorrounding area was really nice and I really, really liked the place in general. When I came to the hotel there was no hot water, which I found to be pretty strange but the problem was fixed after a few hours... I could just stroll around Zagreb for that time so it was not really a problem to be honest. The receptionist was nice and friendly and she was there to help with even the smallest of things. The room was ok but it was in the backend of the hotel so the wi-fi didn't reach properly. This could easily be fixed with a wi-fi extender... seemed as if they didn't have one of those... Anyway everything was fine. A bit far away from the city but what the heck right, walking is healthy.

Agradable y acogedor
La amabilidad y la cordialidad del personal del hotel, es increíble uno está tranquilo y le tienen paciencia para la traducción al no manejar su idioma, siempre están dispuestos a ayudarte y guiarte en la estadía en Zagreb, el único pero es que para el tamaño de la habitación, consideramos que podría ser más una sencilla que doble, pues con las dos camas y maletas es difícil moverse.

Also Zimmer Nr 2 bräuchte schon mal eine Renovierung vor allem im Bad. Auch dass vom Nachtschrank die Schiebeschublade schief hängt scheint niemanden zu interessieren. Wer anspruchslos ist für dem ist es Ok. Frühstück war gut ein Omelett wurde angeboten und alles was dazu gehört, allerdings Instand Kaffee da der Automat der daneben steht nicht mehr funktioniert. An dem Eigentümer. Nicht nur kassieren sondern auch Investieren.

That room is in economy category and there are many rooms with renovated bathrooms and overall better look that you can choose while reservating a room in our hotel. However, we are happy that in room number 2 we have new beds now as we are constantly working on improving our rooms to make visit to our hotel enjoyable as possible. Le plus de cet hotel c'est vraiment l amabilité du personnel,et la proximité du centre ville. La chambre A1 etait entre le parking, la route,la réception et la porte d entrée un vacarme constant tout le temps. Un frigo etait prévu dans la description de l hotel, a notre arrivée, il n y avait qu un frigo commun appartenant au personnel de l hotel . Équipement vetuste surtout dans la salle de bain

We konden niet eens knap douche aangegeven bij aankomst om 15:00 uur en er zou een monteur komen die zelfde dag. Er was helemaal niemand geweest op de kamer. Andere kamer aangevraagd was er niet. Ja dan moest ik maar een beetje improviseren, me vriendin de douchekop vast laten houden. Der was niet eens een douche stang. Als dat zo was had ik er genoegen mee genomen, ijzerdraagje erom en klaar. Maar dat kon niet. Antwoord van de reseptie ja vroeger hadden mensen geen douche . Ik kon kiezen om 22:00 geld terug en het hotel verlaten of niet zeuren en 6 euro korting krijgen. Heb gekozen voor optie 1 en heerlijk geslapen in een apart/hotel met parkeerplek op erf en openhaard op de kamer. Voor nog minder.
