Stunning hotel with beautiful architecture and pool design. Olea is a great choice for couples looking to relax, with excellent on-site restaurants and a calm atmosphere. The staff are friendly and clearly try hard, though at times the attentiveness wasn’t quite at the level you’d expect from a hotel of this standard. Overall, a very good option for a relaxing stay in Zante.

Love this resort and we had a room with a private pool. You’re a 10 min taxi ride from town center that has great shopping and restaurants. Great breakfast buffet. Quiet resort with a chill vibe.

I loved the design of the hotel. The room was spacious, stylish and well-maintained, and the views were gorgeous. The staff are all really friendly and keen to make amends for issues but there are inconsistencies in the service and communication that don't match what would be expected from a 5 star experience. The food quality isn't consistent across the three main dinner locations and doesn't quite match the price point. The ambience of the hotel matched what I needed for my short stay - very quiet and peaceful and hardly any children - which allowed me to relax in a way I haven't been able to in a while.

We had a lovely stay at the Olea. The staff was very nice and friendly. They helped us with everything and made it very comfortable for us. It was our first marriage anniversary and it was a special on. Definitely going back if we visit Zakynthos again. 10/10 👌

not so great second time visiting

This was our second time at Olea. We never go back to a place twice usually but first time round it was so good we could not resist. This time round they have made a few changes, some good, some not so. Plus points the Flo Bar / restaurant is now a la carte which is much nicer than the fine dining 7 course set menu. Down side the cocoon restaurant in the evening is now a set menu and the bar has totally lost its atmosphere. Last time we enjoyed a few lovely evenings on the cocktails at the bar, the vibe just isn't there any more. Room - on arrival we had someone else's luggage in our room, this was quickly rectified. We then realised our toilet did not work, again rectified quite quickly. Housekeeping our amazing and visit with fresh towels and fully clean your room every day. Room service take quite while and we found the food served is below par of the restaurants and also does not always match the wording on the menu, it feels slightly rushed together. We love the architecture and 'cool vibe' this hotel offers, but if you look closely the build quality is actually really quite rough around the edges. Staff go above and beyond and are very attentive, sometimes lacking personality as they so overly polite. Fist time round we had a sea view room with private pool, the view was obscured by greenery. This time we ask for a mainland view (with private pool) and these rooms are higher up and benefit from the most amazing views (same view as the flow bar
