A fabulous place in a fabulous location!
The apartment and town are beautiful, and Roberto was a pleasure to meet and was quite helpful. FYI: Be sure to check out the bakery that you will find on Via Fratelli Calvi, just outside the large wooden doors of the east wall. But they're only open in the morning until noon.

Roberto thank you for a wonderful stay. Your home is rich with history character and charm we enjoyed our stay. The grounds of the estancia are beautiful. A stay at your location is a stay in traditional Italy with just enough modern amenities. Future renters need to know how welcoming you and your wife are, we truly felt welcomed. My biggest surprise was to find on demand hot water. Thank you again.

Een super verblijf! Aanrader!!
Uitstekende gastheer. Fijne tips over de omgeving. Super schoon appartement. Prachtig landgoed, waar de hond in een deel van de tuin los kon lopen. Iedere dag verse eieren uit de tuin. Zandobbio ligt niet ver van Bergamo, en het meer van Iseo. We hebben ons een week uitermate goed vermaakt.

Bon emplacement pour la région des Lacs
Excellent accueil de Roberto, aux petits soins pour ses invités. Beau parc arboré et animé par des pensionnaires caquetant et brayant de temps en temps, sympathique et non bruyant. Vaste appartement conforme au descriptif et aux photos. Seul bémol, il se situe au 2ème étage sans ascenseur, difficile pour des personnes ayant des difficultés à monter une quarantaine de marches. Sinon tout est prévu pour un agréable séjour, même le cadeau de bienvenue. Merci Roberto.

Very nice location and extremely friendly owners.
We enjoyed the stay very much. The property, apartment and house are top maintained and the owners on site very nice. Everything you need is available. For teenagers, the offer is somewhat limited due to the size of the place, but there was fortunately a nice big pool, soccer goals, ping pong table and bocce court. But you can also do a lot in the area (Milan, Bergamo, lakes etc..) Our dog also found it great - running without a leash no problem even if now and then cats were there; the house dog was also very friendly.

A perfect second experience
After our wonderful 2 weeks at Roberto's place last year, we really wanted to go back there. And we were not disappointed! Everything was still like in our memories: a true Italian paradise. This year was really hot so we chose to visit the cities (Milano, Bergamo) early in the morning or at night. We spent the mornings exploring some more natural treasures (Iseo Lake, the mountains, Val Vertova, we highly recommend!!) where it was fresh, and the afternoons enjoying the fantastic pool in the garden. Roberto and his family were again great hosts, very kind and discreet, and always available for some advice. We enjoyed the fresh eggs every morning and the delicious tomatoes from the garden. The apartment is really well equipped, you only need to take your clothes, sun cream and bathing suits! Even in the kitchen you will find a lot of stuff, from sugar, salt and spices to coffee and olive oil... It will make your arrival very easy.

Great holidays in Zandobbio
We had very nice holidays in Casa Valila in Zandobbio. The house is very complete and has a great garden with lots of facilities. A nice starting point for hiking or a swim in Lake Iseo or for city trips.

Beautiful Italian house
It was our first family holiday in Italy and we had a great first Italian experience at Roberto’s house. Roberto is a friendly and very good host. Very easy to communicate with. It was very spacious, clean and everything we needed was there: enough towels, enough plates, cups and glasses, a good working oven and bbq, washing machine and dishwasher. The garden was amazing! It seemed like a park! The pool was even bigger than we thought, the kids loved it. We enjoyed the eggs from the chickens and we loved the tomatoes from the garden. It is very easy to go to different places like the lakes or cities in the area. We had very good pizzas at restaurant Borgo dei Cigni at Lago di Endine (only 15 min drive!)

Tolles Appartement in fantastischem Garten
Wir haben zwei sehr schöne und entspannte Wochen in einer sehr gut ausgestatteten und sauberen Wohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung in dem Palazzo aus dem 18. Jahrhundert ist geschmackvoll möbliert und hat seinen ganz besonderen Charme bewahrt. Das Anwesen, in dem sich der Palazzo befindet, ist wie ein Park mit hoher Mauer vom Ort getrennt und wirklich beeindruckend. Überall grünt es, es gibt reichlich Liegen und kleine Sitzgruppen, auch im Schatten, und der Duft ist überwältigend. Vor allem den Pool haben wir sehr genossen, wenn wir von unseren Ausflügen zurückkehrten. An den gut erreichbaren Seen und den umliegenden Hügeln sind sehr schöne Wandertouren möglich, dazu sind Mailand, Bergamo, Brescia, Verona, Mantua etc. in max. anderthalb Stunden erreichbar und absolut sehenswert. Ein Bäcker ist direkt nebenan, Supermärkte nicht weit weg und der Markt im Nachbarort zu Fuß erreichbar. Roberto ist jederzeit für seine Gäste da, ein sehr guter und freundlicher Gastgeber. Beautiful, Relaxing and well Located!
Our stay at the beautiful house in Zandobbio was absolutely perfect! Roberto, our host, was wonderful - he was attentive, caring and quick to communicate with us throughout our stay. The house itself was very comfortable and we felt right at home. We especially loved the beautiful park surrounding the property, which even had some lovely animals like Diego the Donkey! The location was ideal for us, as we were able to easily make day trips to Bergamo, Brescia, Milan and Lago d'Iseo/Monte Isola. Overall, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway. Thanks again to Roberto for making our stay so enjoyable!

Un petit coin de paradis
Nous avons passé 2 semaines fantastiques dans cette superbe propriété. L'accueil de Roberto était chaleureux, il nous a tout montré et expliqué. L'appartement était nickel à notre arrivée, les lits faits, ce qui est toujours très agréable après un long voyage. Les photos de l'annonce ne montrent pas à 100% à quel point l'endroit est magnifique, à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur! C'est une vraie "villa" à l'italienne, aménagée avec beaucoup de goût et dans laquelle on se sent comme chez soi. Et le jardin... un véritable paradis, pour les adultes, les enfants et les animaux :-) Côté équipement, nous n'avons manqué de rien. Il y a des magasins tout près, une boulangerie littéralement derrière la porte et des supermarchés en suffisance à 5 minutes en voiture. La maison est aussi super bien située pour visiter de jolies villes: nous avons vu Vérone, Bergame, Lovere, Monte Isola et Milan, tout ça à moins d'une heure et demie de route. Bref, un séjour parfait et nous rêvons déjà d'y retourner! Merci à Roberto et sa famille pour leur gentillesse

Very nice and confortable place to stay, attentive and kindly generous people
We stayed 15 days in Zandobbio with our 3 kids and it was really a pleasure. Garden is perfect (surrounded by walls all over) and situated in the centre of Zandobbio, with all kinds of places to play or to rest. Kids loved the pool, the animals and bikes at disposal. Bakery is over the street (10m max, yes ten), supermercato 200m away. Roberto was really attentive to our needs and gave advices to visit around for the next 3 months… The washing dishes machine is now new as the old one broke during our stay, and was renewed within 3 days by Roberto. Pool was cleaned and refilled every day. You can eat the fruits or vegetables from the garden as you need, also the eggs. The apartment is like on the pictures and description. Just a perfect stay. Thank you Roberto & family!

A wonderful place for a perfect family holiday
Thank you Roberto for welcoming us in your wonderful house. With our 2 kids (4 and 7 yo) we had a great stay. Wonderful place and super kind people
This was the perfect option for our one-week girls trip! The garden is HUGE, the pool is wonderful and the apartment is big as well. There's fruit trees and a vegetable garden and we got to eat fresh eggs from the chicken for breakfast. Most importantly, both Roberto and Mandana, who was there for as the first part of the week, are incredibly nice and welcoming! Thank you so much Roberto and Mandana!

Great relaxing family time
We had a lovely and relaxing week in this beautiful place. The kids enjoyed jumping into the big pool, spending time with the goats and running around in the large garden. The appartement is so nice (offering any possible comfort like washing machine, linen, towels, games, books, fully stuffed kitchen) and the garden is absolutely stunning. Authentiek Italiaans verblijf
Authentiek Italiaans onderkomen in een historisch landhuis. De familie is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Elke ochtend vers brood bij de bakker, of groente en fruit een straat verderop. Een prima restaurant op loopafstand. Mooie wandelingen en fietstochten te maken in de omgeving.

Great place with friendly host
We can certainly recommend this place. A clean and charming apartment with access to garden and pool. Zandobbio is a charming little town where you will find a couple of cafes, supermarket and pizzeria within walking distance. We also enjoyed a couple of trips to the mountains where our helpful and friendly host, Roberto, was kind to give recommendations about where to go.

Wunderschöner Palazzo
Wir verbrachten eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Palazzo. Die Wohnung ist sauber, gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet! Der Garten ist riesig, mit großem Pool, Tischtennis, Bocciaplatz und ein kleiner Streichelzoo mit Ziegen und Hühnern. Robertos kleiner Hund ist unglaublich süß und liebte es mit unserem Hund Stella zu spielen. Der Iseosee mit seiner schönen Insel ist ca. 30 min. entfernt und gleicht sehr dem Gardasee, nur ohne dem Touristenrummel. Danke Roberto für deine gute Gastfreundschaft und deine warmherzige Aufnahme!

A wonderful place
We stayed 10 days in Zandobbio in this beautiful, large and very comfortable apartment, which is part of a 200+ year old Palazzo, and enjoyed it very much. The apartment is exactly as described and provides all one needs. The large park, surrounded by walls, gives the feeling of being alone in the middle of the small town of Zandobbio. Lago di Endine and Lago d'Iseo are not far away and great places to spend the day. Or one can simply stay "at home" and enjoy the pool, the garden, pick fruits from the many fruit trees, or tomatoes, and simply relax. Thanks a lot, Roberto, for the really wonderful stay! We all (including the dog) enjoyed it very much!

Ein wunderbares Anwesen mit Stil und Geschichte!
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Roberto und seiner Familie! Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus, der Garten lässt einen wie in eine andere Welt versetzt fühlen. Die Kinder genossen den Pool und natürlich die Tiere! Die See Endine ist toll zum Baden, am Iseo gibt es vieles zu entdecken. Vielen Lieben Dank für alles!

Lieber Roberto, vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt. Ein wundervolles, altes Objekt, mit viel Liebe gepflegt und erhalten. Die interessante Geschichte des Hauses reicht bis in das 18. Jahrhundert zurück. Zandobbio ist ein empfehlenswerter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, zum Beispiel an die bekannten Seen oder die vielen schönen alten Städte und Dörfer. Bellissimo appartamento in splendido parco
L'appartamento è molto bello, arredato con cura e spazioso. Fornito con utensili, coperte, asciugamani. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e molto disponibile. L'appartamento si trova in una villa d'epoca con un grandissimo parco in cui si possono lasciare i cani liberi. Vicino alla casa ci sono tante località di lago e di montagna dove fare belle passeggiate! Consigliato!! Grazie a Roberto per l'accoglienza!!

Wonderful place with very nice owner!
The house is very clean, very beautiful, very spacious and very cozy... and the garden, more a park, around is overwhelming! We played Badminton, Pétanque, Pingpong, lying in the sun and drinking Spritz :-)- unfortunately it was already too fresh to use the pool for the kids. A visit to Bergamo, close by was wonderful too. Zandobbio as a village is not very interesting, touristically, but inside the property you are in your own world. And Roberto of the owner family is very welcoming and warmhearted - thank you so very much, we felt at home after minutes!!!

eine wunderschöne, sehr gemütliche und geschmackvolle Wohnung in dem herrlichen Palazzo. Der parkähnliche Garten ist ein Traum besonders für unseren Hund der sich frei bewegen konnte. Herr Rieva und seine Familie sind ausgesucht herzlich und hilfsbereit. Tolle Gegend und das Nachbarstädtchen Trescore ist sehr ansprechend. Die Seeen und unmittelbaren Wanderwege sind auch herrlich. Tolle Gastronomie und Weine. Insgesamt war es ein sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt mit sehr netten Eindrücken in einer serh schönen Gegend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall dieses Jahr nochmals dort vorbei.

Cosy, central, lovely apartment
We (family, 2 kids) had a brillant week at La Casa Valila. The location is just perfect for families, with its huge garden hidden safely behind the centuries-old walls of the old residenza. Yet it is central, in the little town of Zandobbio itself, but also for excursions to Bergamo, Cremona, Lago di Garda, Lago d'Ideo or Milan. Only topped by a welcoming and helpful landlord. exceptional apartment + spacious and stately garden
Many thanks dear Roberto + family, we felt very well in these 10 days in this beautiful and affectionately maintained property. Fortunately, with the high temperatures in summer, a pool was available. Moreover, it was very relaxed to use the spacious garden/ better park. We also enjoyed the apartment very much, especially the spacious kitchen, everything we needed was there. Many thanks for the warm and courteous support for all questions and problems. Sure we'll come back, it was very nice.

Soleil piscine et calme les vacances idéales
Nous avons passé une semaine superbe a Zandobbio Le gîte est très confortable et bien équipé. Le parc est splendide et la piscine très grande. Nous avons pu profiter pleinement de ces espaces et du calme, notre chien a également pu nous suivre partout ce qui est très appréciable et à noter vu le peu de gîtes où c est possible Nous n oublierons pas non plus les multiples carillons de l église qui nous ont ravis ! Great holidays!!!
We spend two weeks with our two children (10 an 12 years old) in Zandobbio and enjoyed the beautiful house and the beautiful garden with the great pool. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. We had a lot of sightseeing in Bergamo, Lago d'Iseo with Monte Isola, Milano... Roberto and his family are very kind and helpful. We could recommend the house to everyone. Thanks for your hospitality.

Tolle Wohnung und wunderbares Ambiente

Bellissima esperienza, tra piccolo borgo e colline
Proprietario ospitale e disponibile, casa di altri tempi, con un parco enorme. Vicinanza di tutto il necessario (poste, panificio, alimentari...). Consigliatissima!

Excellent place, both the appartment but also the garden, without forgetting the owners!
Nice appartment, very comfortable, clean and with all needed material. Including also a nice garden and some domestic animals. All thought to spend a nice holidays, in a very relaxing place. Ideal to visit all the lakes area, but also quite close to Milan, Verona...etc. We would reccomend it without any doubt. Very close to all needed shops to buy the day to day material. Owners very friendly, willing to help as much as possible, always taking care of guests. We spent one week there, with our two children. All of us enjoyed a lot the stay and will try to come back!
