We absolutely loved this place and plan to stay again. We had a long drive the next day, so getting a good night sleep was important. We received fabulous recommendation of where to eat dinner and enjoying walking around the town.

The Buxton was a great hotel to stay at! We were there for a wedding and the whole wedding was staying there which made it so fun. We had a great balcony that overlooked the courtyard. There was a fun gameroom as well. Overall, I would absolutely stay there again. It was great!

THIS IS NOT A HILTON OR HOLIDAY INN! But that’s what’s so great about it! Beautifully kept and maintained historic inn! Rich with history. Lots of original things and then some very cute and tasteful updates. Beds were comfy. Access is easy. We parked right next to our building. There are lots of shops and dining options that are a 2 minute walk from the inn. I had my 12 year old daughter and she “low key” loved it, too.

I failed to review carefully the information about access for people with disabilities (I use a walker). The Inn is grandfathered from complying with ADA requirements. Nevertheless, the staff was very accomodating, helping me in and out of the three step, no railing room to which I was assigned
