"This is a lovely hotel with some of the most gorgeous views from our balcony. The staff at this hotel were fantastic, friendly and couldnt do enough to make our holiday memorable. The rooms were clean, spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pool area had plenty of sunbeds available although we noticed by the end of our weeks stay people had started reserving sunbeds early in the morning. Although the hotel has a policy that says sunbeds can only be reserved for an hour this doesnt seem to be enforced but as I have said there are so many sunbeds near the pool that it didnt bother us in the slightest. The hotel is away from Dubrovnik old town and the Gruz port area. Both areas are walkable but it is quite hilly. There always taxis available though if you want to go sightseeing."

"Very pleased with the size and quality of our room (we had a 2+2). The beach was excellent and there was no major hassle getting sunbeds. We visited in the middle of August, so it was busy, but we still managed to find beds every day. The gym was basic and won't tick the box for fitness enthusiasts looking for a well-equipped workout facility. However, the rest of the hotel more than made up for this. The location is fantastic, the grounds are well maintained, and the overall standard of service was very good. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return. The combination of spacious rooms, excellent beach access, and a relaxing atmosphere made for a very enjoyable holiday."

"This was our second time staying at Hotel Croatia in Cavtat, and we loved it so much the first time that this year we came back with even more of our family! Coming all the way from Vancouver, Hotel Croatia truly feels like a home away from home for us. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by the Adriatic Sea with incredible views, beautiful swimming areas and easy access to the water. The property is clean, elegant and very well maintained. What makes our stays even more special is the wonderful staff. Everyone is welcoming, friendly and professional, and they genuinely make you feel at home. Cavtat itself is beautiful and peaceful, and the hotel is perfectly located for enjoying the town while also relaxing by the sea. Returning for a second time with more of our family made this visit even more memorable. We rarely return to the same hotel when travelling, but Hotel Croatia is one of those special places we are always happy to come back to. Two wonderful stays and hopefully many more to come! Highly recommended. ❤️"

"Wonderful hotel, spacious and clean rooms, with all the amenities and facilities on site. Business conferencing area, kids club, games area, multiple saunas, spa and beauty treatments, gym, shop, multiple swimming pools with plenty of sunloungers, a dedicated area on the beach front. We got a free upgrade to a room with a full beach view and a gift for our anniversary. Excellent breakfast selection. Very professional and polite staff, could not fault anything."

"The hotel exceeded our expectations in that it was in a wonderful location just a short distance from the old town. The housekeeper was one of best we have ever had! She was so efficient and friendly each time we saw her. Our room was cleaned punctually each morning to an excellent standard. We were room 108. We ate one evening at the Taj Mahal restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff very pleasant. The pool area of the hotel is very small but was adequate for our trip. Our only complaint relates to the female bar staff at the Piano Bar. In my opinion they did not represent the friendliness and welcoming appeal of the hotel. Each evening after our meal we went to the bar for a cocktail. On each occasion the female staff were rude and basically not bothered! On our last evening I went up to the bar to order our drinks. The female staff were standing chatting and laughing. They totally ignored me so I stood there until a male staff member arrived from the outside area. As in previous evenings he was both pleasant and efficient in taking my order and making us feel welcome rather than an inconvenience, which was how his female colleagues had definitely acted. I feel this needs to be addressed as I was not alone in being treated this way. On our last morning we were allowed a late check out for a small fee. This was wonderful and greatly appreciated. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and return there again if visiting Dubrovnik."

"Hotel Lapad is a charming hotel in a lovely location.. My room had a small balcony with a beautiful side view of the sea, which I really enjoyed. However, considering the price, I expected the room to be a little more comfortable and updated. My experience with the front desk staff was mixed. Although they were helpful at times, their manner occasionally felt a bit unwelcoming, and I sometimes hesitated to approach them with questions or requests\. A warmer and more hospitality-focused attitude would make the overall guest experience much more enjoyable. Beautiful pool but not enough chairs for the guests."
