The rooms were wonderful. The staff was quite nice and made us feel welcome. The hotel itself felt safe. It was a bit tricky to drive to get in, as we passed it and that leads into the airport. A nice man helped us back up the one way to be in front of the hotel. There is a gate you need to take a ticket from to park in front of the lobby to do your check in, which was rather odd to us. It has nice underground parking. After that, all went well.

Our stay at Hotel Astoria was a very pleasant experience. One of the most notable features is the antique lift. It's a really charming and beautiful piece of history that adds to the hotel's unique feel. However, it's worth noting that it can be quite time-consuming, and we found it wasn't the most practical option when we were trying to get our luggage up and down. Despite that small point, we enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to others looking for a hotel with personality.

"Severe lack of parking. We waited 2 hours outside waiting for someone to leave before we could park. Other choice was to park offsite down the hill and walk back. All parking taken up by local residents, no designated hotel parking so if you have a car you may want to chose another hotel."

It was about a 5 minute walk to the train station in a nice area with some good restaurants near by.
