Parador Nature Resort and Spa

"Beautiful clean property with great amenities. They even have a free shuttle to the MP park. Great breakfast with a beautiful trail. But the first day they allocated us with a room with a single bed and sofa bed even if I had booked a room with 2 queen beds. And the room did not have a working fan. After complaining they moved us next day to a better room (better than what I had booked) to make it up. So they definitely try to please a customer. But I feel they should nit have given a cheaper room to us in the first place. And if we had not complained we would have to stay there."

"Great location, great views. Room needed some repair. Shower had mold in the corners. The vanity had significant water damage that caused the wood to swell. Overall enjoyed the property and would stay there again."

"What a beautiful place to stay. We booked a room with a sea view and balcony, both were fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped enough for us to make our own breakfast and enjoy the view on the balcony. On the last day a group of monkeys decided to come and visit us at breakfast too! Beds were large and comfy :) The decor (recycled bottles for lights and walls) throughout the site was quirky and fun - nice to see touches that sets this hotel apart from others. Staff were genuinely helpful and friendly. There were a few stairs to get to the pool (3 pools) and room, not a problem for most, but just be aware if you struggle with them. Access to the beach is by walking along a main road there's no footpath as such. It's downhill to the beach, but really quite steep coming back up. Again not a problem, but just be aware if you're staying with young children etc"
Mountain Top Park Hotel

"The views from Mountain Top are incredible. We could see monkeys, toucans, macaws and more from our balcony and the hotel's restaurant. It's so close to the national park but has its own jungle on site. Jose, the hotel's wildlife guide, was fab - he took us on two guided tours and wad always excited to spot animals and tell us more about them. Would definitely recommend this hotel if travelling to Manuel Antonio and try to book the ocean view if you can"

"Dennys and his staff were wonderful hosts. The property sits near the top of the road leading down to Manuel Antonio beach and park (about 25 minutes by walk or 5 minute bus ride) and just a short walk (5 minutes or less) to several restaurants, cafes, bars and such. From my balcony and throughout the property I encountered a vast array of wildlife. Several capuchin monkeys made multiple visits to my balcony to allow my an up close encounter."

"What a view! Moring coffee on your balcony is like sitting in a live video of National Geographic! Monkeys, birds, ocean, pure beauty! The staff, especially Jose, was very helpful with bookings. We would defiantly book again."

"Fantastic Stay!We had an incredible experience here. The staff went above and beyond, especially Jose and Amy, who made our stay unforgettable. The room was spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring. We absolutely loved spending time by the stunning infinity pool. Dinner featured fantastic food, and the ceviche was truly amazing. Highly recommend!"
