We stayed in Hotel Europe for three nights - three fantastic nights! From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out we loved every moment of our stay. The staff were extraordinarily welcoming and genuinely friendly and engaged at all times. The room was very clean and comfortable with good amenities. The WIFI was spotty at times but mostly the first night - it was ok after that. The elevator is tiny but so quaint. It works perfectly well and that’s all we wanted. We had zero issues with our stay and have zero problem recommending it. Fantastic staff, fantastic room, fantastic location…fantastic experience!

Disappointed that when we arrived Friday evening we were unable to use the bar or the restaurant as it was closed for a private event!! The man in charge was very unhelpful even rude just saying it was closed for a private event !! I asked where should we go and he just shrugged his shoulders! Ended up next door in the ambassador hotel mush better and spent my money there instead of our hotel !

Wonderful property, amazing staff. It was absolutely perfect! Traveling with a small dog as well. Close to all of the sites and easy access in and out of old center. Will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are traditional, so don't expect any mod cons. But the beds are exceptional, the breakfast delicious and the service is outstanding.

everything was good except the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable and it was very very noisy , you can hear everything from the walls, we couldn't sleep much at all. the staff however was excellent and very sweet. the location was great too.

We really liked Hotel Europe. We stayed there while visiting family is Zurich. It was a great location in the city near restaurants, cafes and shops, and also near all public transportation for us to get around. Our room was very clean and the decor was cute and European. The rooms are smaller than what we’re used to in the US, but we expected that and it wasnt a problem since we only spent time there to sleep. The staff was friendly and polite and all new English so that was helpful for us Americans :) we had the breakfast buffet at the restaurant and it was good with a nice variety of options. We would stay there again.

We can tell the room was cleaned throughly since a lot of things were smelling good and moved. They cleaned the shower very well and the floors. So thumbs up for the cleaning ladies. The lady in from ( I believe her name is Selina) was very lovely and welcoming. It felt like she knew us from before so we felt very comfortable in the hotel. She acted more like she was there for us and gave us all the attention. The location was on spot. We had the trains at walking distance, clubs , food , theater , the park and at night the location was very active but quite. Feels very safe around it

Location was convenient - quiet but close to old town. Negatives: bed hard as a rock and the room showed signs of wear. We were on our honeymoon which was never acknowledged. We didn’t even get a smile from anyone. Our room was on the first floor where we could hear everything. I would never stay here again.

No heater and bed felt like Sheetrock.
Room 40 -felt like motel 6. Heater didn’t work and the bed felt like I was camping in a 3rd world country. Horrible experience. Never coming back here. Sad and disappointed. Good luck guest.
