Near by transport was the only good thing. The man on reception (Andreas) was rude, unhelpful and sarcastic. We repeated had to ask for water glasses and the response we got was “there is no minibar in your room why do you need glasses?” I forgot my mum and I turned into reptiles and was able to drink the moisture from the air. The floorboards in the room above us were squeaking ALL night for the two nights we stayed here. We called the receptionist and he said there was no problem when in reality there was a child in the room above us running around from 6am. No apology. Nothing. No cutlery, no glasses, no toiletries. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If you hate yourself, your partner or sleeping, book to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very conveniently situated near a tram line that connects you to the main station. Lots of great food options nearby. Unlike other reviews we found it to be quiet. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. The lift is working. Overall we were very happy with this hotel.

Just a short layover in Zurich. Good budget stay. No extras included but clearly stated. Easy access to public transportation and popular places to eat.

Avoid in Summer
Be very careful about staying here in the summer. Not only do they not have AC, they only have a heavy comforter. And you'll have to open up the windows and hear an extremely busy street that is very loud. Location is convenient, but good luck getting a good night's sleep if you stay here in the summer.

It is very reasonable priced. Bed is good and rooms are basic. There were multiple reception staff. One of them was particularly rude towards me. On the first encounter, he rudely asked my room number which I provided. On the second encounter he asked my room number again, which I provided. I got accused for providing him a different room number than the day before. He rudely insisted that I showed him my room key. That really ruined the last night.

I’m shocked expedia even offers this hotel to its users. I have been using expedia for years and I have never ever thought a disturbingly unclean, and deeply rude hotel staff would somehow end up becoming an option on the website. Hotel is old, unclean, everything smells and it is acceptable for the hotel staff so they don’t even bother cleaning anything. I recommend people to stay away from this establishment.

So we came to the hotel after a long flight with our big luggages and was told to look for a parking in the streets since they only have 4 parking space in their hotel and all have been taken and paid for. 30-45 mins later, no luck in looking for a parking space. Went to the hotel to check in and we were told they don’t see our reservation in their system. Reception guy told us that their other hotel ( Hotel Stroller) can accommodate us for the night. They initially said that they have parking and we can park anytime, and will be given the same rate like our booking from Travelocity (2 rooms instead of 1 junior suite room like what we booked from travelocity good for 4. This hotel does not have Junior suite rooms) but the reception guy said if we stay longer they will charge us 210 CHF (approx $220) per room. So we decided that we are not going to stay anymore due to higher room rates ($420/night for 2 rooms) The next morning, we surrendered our keys and that’s when they told us that they will charge us 30CHF for the parking.???Beware of this hotel. There were 3 guests that have reservations online from the same hotel but ended up being transferred to their other hotel (Hotel Stroller) to give the guests higher room rates. I don’t think this is a mistake or isolated case. Of course, you will jump into the higher price room if you don’t have any place to stay for the night. DO NOT BOOK IN THIS HOTEL. They don’t have parking space and they lie to their guests. Scam alert.

Simple comfort in good location
Staff were generally friendly and were accommodating. Room was comfortable. Although, no coffee making facilities. Location close to tram and bus stops and easy to get to and from “downtown”.

Very clean, tidy and basic. Met my needs of a bed and shower and there was a nice desk to work from. I stayed for 4 nights and didnt have any issues at all. Would recommend.

In a Zürich world of high prices, this hotel stands out as a reasonably priced, comfortable place. Breakfast cost 9.50 and was good. Parking costs 25.00! So we parked across the street, which was free at night. Next day we drove downtown and paid 28.00 for six hours!

Property is really well located next to a tram station only about ten minutes away from old downtown Zurich. Room was clean and well maintained. Didn't get breakfast since I slept in but it was really good to have it included given top prices in CH ... Parking was also an option but didn't get a spot when I came in... Luckily for me I stayed on a Sunday and found a public parking spot in from of hotel entrance. Would stay there again.

Täuschung bei den verfügbaren Parkplätze
Es kann nicht sein, dass im Internet steht "Parkplätze verfügbar". Dies wenn das Hotel sogar nach dem Setzen des Filter als ein solches aufgeführt wird. Vor Ort hatte es ganze 7 Parkplätze für geschätze 50 Zimmer. Diese waren alle besetzt und wir mussten das Auto in einem anderen Hotel in der Nähe für CHF 35.- parkieren.
