Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Cheval Blanc , easy to get to , in a lovely little village, the staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble, lovely breakfast and we ate at their restaurant for our evening meal which was very good value and choice, the room we had was clean and large as 3 adults and 3 kids in the room and a very modern bathroom with clean towels everyday and rooms tidied daily as well, tea and coffee facilities and fridge in room, only downside was the stairs into our room as we had a baby with us and her pram , but we managed.

Mixed review on staff helpfulness
Bed was broken and despite my husband reporting it and escalating it to the hotel manager and him assuring us it would be repaired, nothing was done. Bullstock base of the bed was touching the floor which is absolutely unacceptable and my husband now has a bad back from it. Rooms could do with an upgrade as they are very tired in places. Carpets are filthy. Seems that all the money's been poured into the lobby. Not a great room service selection either. Very limited and you see lots of people eating Uber eats in the lobby area which is pretty grim and brings down the overall experience.

The hotel was really lovely, staff were great but the room was so hot. Air con didn’t work and the window only opened slightly. We arrived at this hotel about 10pm, so it was too late to didn’t have a good night sleep because it was so hot in our room.
