Hoogezand-Sappemeer Adventure Holidays

We drove from Amsterdam to Cologne, Germany. Great location for one night. We visit cologne cathedral and other places. The next day we drove to our destination of Luxembourg. Stay at the best western on victor huge. Highly recommend.

Great hotel, location and staff

We had a nice stay in this hotel. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. There are two things that cause me to rate this less than five stars. First is the airport shuttle. It is included with the room, but only runs every half hour whether leaving from the hotel or the airport. The problem is that the shuttle is too small to accommodate so many travelers. On the way from the airport, it was standing room only, and I had to hold my luggage between my legs. On the way from the hotel, we saw the crowd waiting and just ordered an Uber. Since part of the reason we got this hotel was for the shuttle, this was disappointing and an unexpected expense. The second issue is the cost of food at the hotel. There are few restaurant options near the hotel, so without competition, the hotel seems to charge a premium for food.

Nice and clean large rooms. Staff was helpful. Perk they offer 1 free shuttle from or to the airport. The second shuttle to the airport is really low cost. Better than a taxi.

The room was dusty and the mattress too soft. The whole hotel was dark. Need more lights. The staff could not have been any nicer!

I don’t write reviews…But for the Waldorf Astoria in Amsterdam I will. They were perfect. Honestly. In the business and did not want to leave. The service was spot on. I’d go back in a heartbeat!
