The room was to small and we didn’t like to have the basin next to the bed we prefer to have basin in the bathroom because if you use the toilet you have to go outside the bathroom to wash your hands

Amazing hotel in a great location. Large room size, excellent air conditioning! Truly a great place to stay in Amsterdam. Very friendly staff with a lovely breakfast available. Bicycles available for daily rental (best way to see Amsterdam).

Iconic, whimsical decor by famous Amsterdam designer. Love it. The restaurant on location is also quite good.

Check-in was very slow but got a room upgrade (which was old part of the building), which was great initially but there was no AC & therefore had to request a fan (especially on a 35 degree day), received a Dyson fan that didn’t do the job very well. Housekeeping for your room was asked at check-in which I found very unusual as it should be something as a default or by a sign in your room when required. Breakfast is well worth getting with your room as it was exceptional & great service. Lastly to borrow an umbrella shouldn’t be an obligation to the patrons as something that is a rental & placed against the room (not very well delivered by one of your staff members). Otherwise beautiful decor of the hotel just need to work on a better experience in staying there.
