Caribbean Adventure Holidays

First off, this resort is massive! They have trolleys going around about every 5 mins which helped out with all the walking. We arrived 2 hrs early but was allowed to check in early. Right after checking in, we went to concierge to make reservations for the restaurants but they told us that every restaurant was already fully booked til the 14th and were leaving on the 13th. We went the next day to see if we could at least find a restaurant to go to on the 9th since it was my daughter's birthday. Thanks to Katherine for getting us reservations to Coral restaurant and was also able to get my daughter a cake. Heidy at concierge was also helpful and got us reservations to Santa Fe Steakhouse and Kyoto after being told that all the restaurants were fully booked. The room is a little outdated and needs a little TLC. Our shampoo/ conditioner holder fell off the wall and the light fixture in the shower also fell off on our 1st day. We told front desk and someone came to check it out but didn't fix it. The room was cleaned daily and mini bar was filled daily as well. Overall, our stay was ok but if I'm ever back in the DR, I'd probably try out a different resort.

Amazing place! Safe and fun to visit with the family

Everything was clean, everyone very nice and kind and didn’t had any issues with nothing.

We traveled with a group of 10 people and had a great time. I highly recommend the swim out rooms so you also have a place to hang after being by the big pool or beach. The resort was able to accommodate us and get us into the same building, but not all next to each other. Dinner reservations were always ready before we arrived. The food was fine for a resort. The swim-up bar was the main spot we hung out. The beaches are beautiful and they were even clearing out the seaweed in front of the resort. Lots of activities. I would suggest a 4-night minimum to add on an excursion to explore off the resort as well. It is nice that Ambar is adults only, but we had access to all of the others within walking or tram distance. Had a fun time at the casino. It was smaller and didn't get much action until after 10 pm. Surprisingly not super busy and crowded for July.

Beautiful resort! Staff were friendly and accommodating, always checking to ensure you had everything you needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a great relaxing trip!

I loved it

Couldn’t swim in ocean because the water was to dark. Lots of sargassum . Resort was nice, staff were very nice.

Everything was beautiful, the amenties were great and staff were friendly.
