everything is nice and clean, older style build, but refreshing! the breakfasts need a redoing! they are just ok and a lil bland, otherwise they are fine.

Very friendly and welcoming stop close to SJO. Very characterful, the rooms are large with a great view over the valley. The extensive grounds have great walking trails - we saw an agouti - for early morning walks and a hummingbirds visible from the breakfast restaurant and the jacuzzi next to the swimming pool. Staff are very helpful and friendly, food was good.
