Friendly staff and large sized room. Excellent location - we walked to so much.

Very quiet, clean room, very accommodating staff. Great use of space. I appreciated the real coffee maker, cups and saucers. I would stay here again.

A 2 block walk from Grand Central Station with several subway lines. End of LIRR line from Jamaica/ Air Train from JFK airport only 22 mins. Easy 15 min walk to Times Square. Room was small like most of this type of NYC hotel but bathroom was large with powerful hot shower and always hot water. We had a small balcony with view of Empire State Building. Never waited more than 1 minute for the lift to or from our floor. All staff were polite and professional, especially front desk. Free coffee in room and also from 7:00am in restaurant, plus pastries to purchase. Our room on 15th floor was generally quiet. Only minor niggle was (when jet-lagged) housekeeping woke us early when pushing a trolley of glass bottles outside the room, then stopping to talk on the radio. Would stay here again, particularly if visiting the east side.

Pleasant Hotel in a great location!

The hotel was a great value and close to the attractions we were visiting. Very clean! Visited the roof top bar where the drinks were well made but also quite pricey.

A wonderful hotel in a fantastic location, amazing value too. Highlights include the professional friendly and helpful reception staff, the size and comfort of the rooms, the fabulous rooftop bar and the Ivy Room. The latter is as good a breakfast spot as you will find anywhere in NYC. Can't wait to return.

With a little more attention to service, maintenance, and cleanliness, this would be a really great property. However it can be difficult to get a response from some staff, the linens and pillows need refreshing, and the facilities are mildly backed up and consistently odiferous. We were a bit disappointed and ready to go!
