Greek Islands Adventure Holidays

My husband and I stayed here overnight before our flight back to LA and it was perfect. It’s a gorgeous and chic historical hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and gave us a nice complimentary upgrade for our anniversary (so sweet!). The housekeeping woman was also so nice and left us some local treats and Raki. The room was huge and the bed was also really comfortable (I am very picky with beds, especially in Europe). The large bathroom was by far the nicest of all of the hotels we stayed throughout our time in Greece with Korres bath products which was a very classy touch. Amazing rain shower and water pressure. Make sure not to leave Greece without picking up some Korres! The rooftop is perfect for sunset drinks. We didn’t have time for the pool, but if we were there for longer we definitely would have taken advantage. It’s on the smaller side but perfect for a quick dip. It is also very well located in a safe area and walking distance to so many shops and restaurants while also being a quick drive to the airport for an early departure. We had a nice time walking along the marina and checking out all of the boats and grabbing a fresh seafood dinner on the water. We were trying to locate a specific type of unique souvenir we had been looking for but couldn’t find throughout our trip, and the front desk receptionist was very helpful in helping us find it a short walk away! Will come back for longer next time, thanks GDM!

I'm actually quite disappointed with this hotel. I wished I complained when we arrived. First of all, the hotel grounds itself is amazinggggg. Food is amazing. The only let down was the room. The room is so basic for what you pay at this hotel. Everything else is so well thought of but then you go into your room and it's so meh. Nothing speculatar about the room itself. Very underwhelming. We got the pool with private garden and there was no access way to the garden. You have to swim to get to the private garden. The pool itself is so small, what's the point. You can't have a proper swim. The pool was dirty too. The room was also dirty although it is daily cleaned on the surface. Under the bed was Dusty! And under the table cabinet was Dusty. I was quite disappointed to be honest for whats advertised. I think they purposely do not show the room and instead use a floor plan. If I saw the room, I would have picked a different hotel. Everything else is perfect though, it's just the room that was underwhelming for me.
