Espalmador Island Adventure Holidays

Honestly, disappointed in this hotel. I know Ibiza hotels aren’t cheap, but I paid just over $375 USD a night for this place and I do not feel like I got my monies worth. For starters, when I went to the pool to trade in my token for a towel, they said they were out of towels for the next 20 minutes. Ok, well, for a hotel that purports to be a 4-star property, that’s unacceptable. Also, I was only there to dip in the pool briefly before heading out to wander around the port. That 20 minute wait wasn’t acceptable for me. I never did get to use the pool during my stay. Given that this is Ibiza, it’s common for people to go out clubbing until sunrise. One morning, there was maintenance going on in a nearby room and I started hearing hammering that woke me up around 1000-1100. UNACCEPTABLE!!! Look, I understand you need to do maintenance work, but time it better than that. Waiting until at least 1300 to start maintenance work seems a bit more reasonable. Finally, one day I was just leaving my hotel room at around 1530. I checked in with the front desk and admitted that I knew it was a bit late in the day, but I went out last night and could housekeeping - who was still working - come back for a few basics. The front desk said they were quite busy, but they would at least get me new towels. I said ok, some new towels would be great, and maybe make the bed if they have time. I didn’t get any of that. No new towels, nothing. NOT a 4-star property. I wouldn’t stay here again.

A fantastic holiday with our 1 year old. Massive sized rooms and hotel looks huge from the outside which worried us it could be busy but doesn’t feel that busy as rooms are so big. Great location walking distance from the marina with lots of restaurants, super markets and the beach. Staff were amazing and always welcoming in every department. Very family oriented hotel but not tacky like many other family hotels out there. Santa Eulàlia is a great location for families who want to avoid the party side of the island but still have a great atmosphere. Only downside is how expensive the food and drink is at the hotel. €6.50 for a bottle of water at the bar at night and €11.90 for a milkshake! I do expect to pay more on holiday but that seems excessive! We went to the supermarket for waters and other snacks in the end! All round though we loved it and wished we had stayed for longer.

Loved the swim up room although the tub is in the room. Shower needs a teak bench to put your bath accessories on or perch your foot when shaving legs but overall it was great!
